757 ?
And my other thought on them using the 75s, is that it could be DL trying to do best and send everyone to ATL. That wouldn't surprise me in the least bit. |

*knock on wood* As for inbound to EWR, i don't have enough digits to count the number of times weather has resulted in 'flow control' by the ATC. |

Either she lied or rarely flies. I don't fly out of EWR that often and I've certainly had weather delays multiple times.

Based on that, I'd guess they see the A330s as more valuable elsewhere so they're downgrading routes like PDX-NRT to crappy older 767s and will upgrade other flights to A330s. Interesting.
Interesting move by DL, I just wonder the discussion behind the decision. |
OK! OK!
Thread stays open as long as y'all behave. Silly me for thinking size matters....

What does an A330 have over a "refreshed" 763? Where might the A330s be more useful?

In coach, the 330's have AVOD, whereas the DL 763's do not even have personal IFE. In J, the 330's have lie-flat-at-an-angle seats (if you consider that an advantage) with 20" width, while the 763's have refreshed recliner-style seats that are 18.5" wide.

Actually, their Africa shenanigans are using 767s. At one point they were all 764s, but i don't know if that is still the case.

I soooooo want to ask about the supposed misbehavior, but I don't want one of the black vans to come for me.
Does anyone have any experiences with OnePass magazine shopping? I printed my order confirmation, as I always do with all CO mile mall items, because I know that 6-8 weeks later that it will be that printout that gets mailed to OPSC. |

Also, they will be installing the new Thompson Solution seats in J on the 764's, but I do not know what, if anything, they will be doing to the 763's. |

Unless they've since changed it, DL did announce service from ATL to about four or five western African cities using 752s a couple of weeks ago.
http://globalatlanta.com/article/16959/ New routes from Atlanta include service to Abuja, Nigeria; Monrovia, Liberia; Luanda, Angola and Malabo, Equitorial Guinea via Sal Island. |
