As far as I've ever seen, they're all stored in museums and such.

I saw a concorde a Heathrow the other day parked next to a BA 747
in their maintenance area .

If you have any requests, you can PM me if you like. I plan to head to the Houston Public Library next week after work. I believe they have OAGs from 1971 onwards (perhaps earlier).

I have a bunch of OAG's from the early and mid-90's back at my parents' home.

Is $324 for IAH-LAS in Oct. bad?

I'd imagine you could eventually find something a little cheaper down the road since your looking about 10 months out.

Yeah, there are $256 fares for a different return, so I may wait a few months and see what happens. There is a conference in town that week that I want to go to, so I know prices will jump as time goes on.

Pocket OAGs or the big phone-book variety, which also includes International routes?

Yeah, if just walking through counted, I could add the Concorde, DC-3, 707, and Ford Tri-Motor to my list.

I've done the 707 and Continental's DC-3, before it went into the museum.

Does Continental have a museum?

We have walking and working dinosaurs but no museum. I believe that plane is in some local Houston museum.

I hope it wasn't the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston. IIRC, it got trashed by Ike.

I'm fairly confident I'll personally be able to experience hypersonic or suborbital/orbital flights in my lifetime, despite Concorde being retired. Concorde was the first, but I hope she was the first of many (Virgin Galactic, please!). As an Aerogeek, I'm saddened every time I hear another equipment-type has been retired for good, though. I'm even considering traveling to the Azores, just to get a ride on an A310 and a BAe ATP.

I'm fairly skeptical of supersonic flight in the future. Sub-orbitals are a possibility, but it would probably be priced out of my range, unless I find a way to get Virgin points on a $0.25 pack of pudding.

All airworthy aircraft were moved. From what I've heard about the others, there may be some that are salvageable.

That one has been there for years. I remember seeing it there in April 07 when I was working outside of Heathrow, so I drove by it each day. I believe BA still uses it on occasion for tests and such.
