Reason #56,398 why Facebook is a waste of space. :D

I grew up watching it. I don't think a Christmas has gone by that I haven't watched it at least once since about 1984.

I'll get even with her. I have hundreds of photos from those days at my parents' house I need to dig out while I'm there at Christmas. I'm sure I can find some of her to post that are equally embarrassing.

I just don't get it. But then again, I also grew up not watching it. I vaguely remember seeing it in school one year and thinking it was goofy even then, and that was 10+ years ago.

I ever watched it until my wife raved about it. I ended up finally seeing it a few years ago and think it's OK. Just OK. I told her it was on and she asked me to DVR it.

I think it's pretty much against the law of the internet to talk about cool links and not provide said links.

My cousin flew MEL-somewhere in NYC; NYC-MEX; IAH-LAX and LAX-MEL and didn't have a FF#!!!! ARGH! I signed him up (it was all US/UA flights) and tried to make him understand what he was missing out. What is wrong with people????

I finally booked the DO flight. Nothing like a vouchers to make it real cheap. I'll be part of the PHL group now. I'll also be attending the box brunch and I'll be one of those needing a ride too.

Ok when I selected my seat I noticed that it had the letter V infront the seat number (i.e. V7C) I've never seen that before but I doubt I paid attention to that box before either.

Certainly! I wasn't trying to rain on your parade, just reporting on my past experiences.

Regardless of my experiences, upgrades on PHL-IAH always confuse me... I've had anything from +5 day upgrades to being 18 on the upgrade list.

I saw no rain over my head, sir. :D just think if a good amount of us do end up in the back on that flight: a bunch of lunatics walking up to the GA and asking for a block of seats together.

Well unfortunately her profile security is set in such a way that you can't see the picture unless you're on her friends list. Which is probably a very good thing, given some of the pictures that are on there.

I realize that for you, this person is family. However, do realize that if everyone were as big a leech on Airlines as we are, there wouldn't be any FFPs, as the golden goose would have died a death of a million cuts many years back.

The V is an internal indicator that seat is reserved for Elites, that we (agents) see on the seat map. Strange that you would see this or maybe this is something new.

Granted, there is probably a happy medium between being clueless about FFPs and being a Mileage Prostitute. I wouldn't know anything about that, though. :D

It only showed up when I clicked the seat and the selection went into the box on the selection page. The following page and all pages afterwards did not have the V.

They also started displaying an E for exit rows.
