To entertain myself today... I'm going to upgrade this PC to Vista.

I'll be back in a bit (hopefully) ;)

Also, I'm looking forward to watching her try to ski again.

Amazingly, the SBH had never gone skiing prior to meeting me. Now I take her the week before she takes her annual mother/daughter getaway in Feb. to ensure she has a bruise the size of Montana at least somewhere on her body.

No wonder her parents hate me. Well, that and the whole no ring thing. :o

Maybe that's what I'll do, fly to the DO.

Do it! ^

Amazing! A Canuck that didn't know how to ski.

I'm terrible at skiing, myself. However, it's the one activity (besides peeing standing up) that I'm better at than her. Thus, our trip to BTV, YUL & YOW for New Year's. Can't let her exhibit her superior tanning abilities on some beach. That would be too easy. Gotta get the Cajun out of her element and into some snow. ^

People from TX can't ski! ;)

Don't plan on spending too much time in YOW. It's a nice little city but really only has about a day to a day and a half worth of things to see/do.

Rate CO OnePass

My Take:

OnePass is a 6. I'd tag it, but wouldn't want to be caught doing the walk of shame by any of my friends after making a "redemption."

People from Louisiana are even worse at it than we are. :D

We're spending Three days in/around BTV, Four in YUL, and Two in YOW. Sheraton, W, and Westin, respectively.

Apparently she was rather athletic when she was a youngin' so she didn't want to injure herself whilst skiing. Or so she claims.

She's an expert curler and igloo maker though.

Me too, being a native coastal South Carolinian where the words "snow" and "hills" are about as exotic as "higher education" and "efficient government."

Regarding pee'ing standing up -- I don't doubt for a second that she could do it better in a 737 F lav than me. :o

The Canuck can tan (naturally) with the best of them. It's amazing. One of the students in her school referred to her as the "over-exposed teacher" last year when we got back from Cabo. Hilarious.

Sounds like a good mix of time. The Westin in YOW is in a very good location.

I'm looking forward to it. Will be my first trip to any of those cities. Unfortunately, I won't be snagging any FM Lines to YUL or YOW, as we'll be driving up there from BTV.

Agreed.

I don't believe in upgrading the OS on a computer in place. Too much risk and zero upside. If you really want a new OS buy new hardware for it. No need to bring all the problems from the old system along to the upgrade.

That was a "thank goodness I was not sipping my coffee at the time of reading this post" moment.

I my experience, the V's have been showing up as long as the E's have.
