There was no "one time" language in the e-mail I received.

Strange.

True, but if you're a gadget freak, it's a very hard habit to break.

Ouch. That's even worse.

Good afternoon box

I just did JFK-SFO on UA PS - not that bad . It is raining here so my plan to head into town for a few hours is cancelled.
I managed to get into the SFO SQ Lounge .
The new terminal bridge grants access to the international section without having to clear security.
Free booze here and some noodles , when they close here at noon I will probably get lunch and skip the RCC , my flight back to JFK is at 135 PM.

Never mind the fact I'd been standing at a deserted CO Connection ticket counter for 2-3 minutes waiting for an agent to show up to tag my bag and give it to this jerk. The best part was when he said "We have to have time to x-ray your bag. Do you want this plane to be another 9-11? Or have you forgotten what happened that day?"
  • The passenger on my BPT-IAH flight who held up the entire deplaining process at IAH for a good three minutes to try to ask the pilots if they'd ever landed a plane on a river before. She was in row 3, and made everyone else on the plane wait to get off while she engaged in this nonsense. The least she could have done was step out of the middle of the aisle and let others pass.

If there are terrorists originating out of BPT then we've lost the war on terror.

Not unlike "The Googles", the guys on the photography podcast I listen to refer to it as "The Twitters". Can someone tell me what the point is?

No bump to IAD. Oh well.

I've thought of starting, but I don't know enough people who use Twitter. Is it really worth the effort if only a handful of people follow me?

Strange.

I even had to push a little for what I got. He kept telling me that the new chart was only for tickets booked after 1/21.

There is an interesting trip report on A.net regarding the A380 featuring a divert. look for QF/AA SYD-IAH.

They made it quite clear that it is for a hand picked group of senior staff and his core group of friends, all of which are or will get a stern lecture from white house counsel and I am sure some sort of plugin for their crackberries as well.
