I'm on flight #3 :D Now, all flights for the whole day are pretty much sold out. I don't know what's going to happen. I'm on a pseudo mileage run (overnight) that day. So, depending on how much $ is being offered, I might just have them send me back to LAX that afternoon :D

I just finished Act of Treason; Protect and Defend is sitting upstairs on my desk. I'm waiting for Extreme Measures in paperback if it's not out already - I have waaaaay too many hardcovers in my office.

The morbidly obese TSA agent on a major power trip at BPT who argued with me about checking my bag at 37 minutes before departure, even though there was a sign right there saying the cutoff was 30 minutes before departure. Never mind the fact I'd been standing at a deserted CO Connection ticket counter for 2-3 minutes waiting for an agent to show up to tag my bag and give it to this jerk. The best part was when he said "We have to have time to x-ray your bag. Do you want this plane to be another 9-11? Or have you forgotten what happened that day?"
The passenger on my BPT-IAH flight who held up the entire deplaining process at IAH for a good three minutes to try to ask the pilots if they'd ever landed a plane on a river before. She was in row 3, and made everyone else on the plane wait to get off while she engaged in this nonsense. The least she could have done was step out of the middle of the aisle and let others pass.
