That's good to here.

Have you looked into being a substitute teacher to get you some on the job experience?

Thx. As far as subbing, been there and done that, about four years ago. I took myself off the list for some reason, and I can't remember what it was. It was nothing to do with dissatisfaction.

The unreal NW/KL Flyingpoo changes are also staggering (though seem to get less play outside of that Forum, as the program is Eurocentric). Almost all Coach fares (except the top-two buckets IIRC), earn only a fraction of 100% now. People are leaving that program in droves.

I take it that I haven't heard back from my real estate agent with the usual "the listing broker thinks you're being unreasonable*" as a good sign.

*don't ever tell a perspective buyer this, especially in this market. Everyone that has, has ended up selling their property for less than my offer more than 6 months later. Karma is a biatch.

Most or all airlines will be like that someday.

I have applied with Delta as Gate Agent and Ramp agent online. They keep calling me and telling me congratulations I have moved on to the next round and to please take the aptitude test online. I tell them I already have taken it, 5 times, but they have no record of it

I figured working part time for Delta in EWR would be great and I would travel free on Delta and this is great for an addict, but then I realized that I won’t be gold on CO so I am torn about accepting an offer from them if they ever get my aptitude test to record in their system.

Welcome to the Dark, oops I mean, the Other Side of the Counter. :D

Speaking of doggy doodoo, just got back from our first obedience class. No embarrassing moments.....

For either of us.

I wish I could say the same. We arrived to the class late and then the pound puppy from hell got sent to the corner for barking.

CO finally posted the list of weekend specials and it's pretty extensive. Lots of destinations from EWR, IAH and even CLE.

I know this was already discussed before, but transcons to SEA, PDX and LAX from $119! The interesting part is that these transcons are priced the same as the usual list of cities in the NE.

Unfortunately, I already have travel plans this weekend.

But, and this is a big but, it will not be so much doodoo for business flyers. This is the crowd that accumulates miles by the bushel and does not have lots of time to use them so if the price of an award goes up, it is not a really big deal just as long as they can usually get what they want when they want it.

And DL knows who they are and takes very good care of them. The agents apparently have some clearance to do things for them such as bending the availability rules when they are trying to use their PMUs. I think that they sometimes bounce other travelers to find a seat when one of these people is caught in IRROPS. Tons of bonus miles are thrown their way. I believe that the great majority of high revenue flyers who find that DL goes where they need to go never think of leaving. They sure have me for another year even though US goes where I go even better.

Although nobody is really pleased with them, it is the leisure low fare travelers and the mileage runners who seem to be those who are most incensed about the changes and the rumors. More than a few of the DL regulars would either not care or would welcome the change if DL were to take the LUTs out of the upgrade equation because when they are flying on business they are on the higher fares and when on leisure, they are mostly using awards or PMUs.

LOL Most of the class time was spent getting fitted for the training collars so we couldn't do much wrong. My dog is very food oriented(as am I) so it's easy to keep her attention by keeping my hand near the treats pocket. Now we have homework.

Holy crap. There's a bunch of good places on that list out of EWR.

Often times you can become a teacher with a provisional or emergency certificate, pending taking the classes that you need to finish or complete your certificate. California was doing this for awhile when they discovered that they didn't have enough teachers.

We never finished the training classes for a few reason, like the holidays got in the way and my daughter found other things to do with her time.

But the pound puppy from hell did learn how to sit. In fact she will go outside and come back and sit until you feed her that treat. She's got us trained well.
