Can she please just hurry up and crawl back into the hole she came out of?

I do feel sorry for her kids.

WHO would watch her? She's definitely getting Botox - the forehead does not move.

My favorite quote of the day: "Do you know the web site number?"

RE: the UA fare, I doubt it's a mistake -- CO had fares that were $367 all in EWR-DUB the other day. I've not checked LHR, but what was quoted was well within the realm of what's been out there recently to the more popular destinations in Europe.

I feel bad for UA, but lets face it they had this one coming.

I think her parents should be shot as an example...her choices and such are a direct reflection on them, and unfortunately there's no license needed to procreate.

Not long before I got laid off I had an outside sales rep from a local golf course give me a business card, and handwritten on the back was her email address with a www in front of it. Yup, "[email protected]". I find it insulting that people like this can hold down jobs while I can't seem to catch a break.

Wow, what a mess.

I flew one of UA's reconfigured 763s last week. They're quite nice up front, with even new wall and ceiling panels, and overhead bins in the First and Business cabins. They you get back to Economy Plus/Economy, and it's right back to the 1980-style interior. They do have new seat covers and carpet back there, and the seat padding may have been refreshed as well, but it's amazing to walk from what looks like a brand new plane to what looks like a 25 year old plane while staying on the same aircraft and just walking a few feet.

Well, maybe. I've known some great parents who have had kids who just turned out to be total screw ups as adults, despite the parents' best efforts. It's not always the parents' fault. I'm not saying in this case that her parents don't have some responsibility in this, but in the end, it's their daughter who is responsible.

If you can't afford to redo the whole plane, and not just half a plane (!!!) then don't do it.

Point taken. Most times the parents' influence is clearly visible in how the kid turns out, and that's the overriding point. They obviously failed to teach basic reasoning. Single and no job with 14 kids and no babydaddy is a failure of parentage.
