Nice! Banff/Jasper/Lake Louise are all phenomenal.

Yeah, me thinks Banff but I will let her pick her choice given that she is currently the sole breadwinner in the household. :p

I was reading about the Turkish airlines crash, and came across this:
Most passengers were Dutch and Turkish, but one person each came from Germany, Taiwan, Finland, Bulgaria and Italy. Weterings said the nationalities of 15 of the passengers still had not been confirmed. Four of the Americans were Boeing employees.
That ought to lead to some interesting meetings back at Boeing.

Try kl to dfw. That's good for reward seats. Nwa.jp

Yup. After my RTWs got hit by schedule changes, AMS-DFW was the only route I could find for 2x J reward seats.

Yikes! Then again, they can attest to the strength of the plane given the impact and number of survivors.

I do not care if you are a B or A fan, you must give them their props for their engineering given that the planning for the current series started well before the PC was even on desktops.

Hey - remind me of your routing? Mrs. MBM3 was asking me and I realized that I must have burned out those cells recently.

CO's bi-polar revenue management strikes again.

Just booked EWR - DCA flights for $98 r/t. That's too cheap in my opinion.

I wonder how long they've offered these fares. I've been so pre-conditioned to not even consider CO on this route because of their $700 fares on props and RJ's I haven't considered them in a long time. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Seems CO tried to screw the pooch and woke up the realization that... it was a pooch.

Presently it's:

MSY-IAH (Separate Tix on CO)
IAH-MEX (AM) Stopover
MEX-TIJ (AM)-NRT (AM)-ICN (KE) Stopover
ICN-BKK (KE)-HKT (TG) Stopover
HKT-ICN (KE)-PRG (KE) Stopover
PRG-CDG (OK) Stopover
CDG-AMS (AF)-DFW (KL)-IAH (Separate Tix on CO)

Did FT just burp? I was just getting database error messages. Oh, well.

Is it just me, or does anyone else want to drop kick that dude in the Lufthansa ads on FT? I want to break that wine glass filled with Merlot over his head and spill it all over his over-starched shirt. Who uses long-stem wine glasses on flights, anyway?

I want to be that ad guy...I would change it to this:

"Nonstop perfection to CLL, VCT, BPT and LCH. Un-air conditioned comfort for flights under 45 minutes. Sweat running down your back for the bumpy flight home. All for this one moment. -- Colgan Air...there's no more uncomfortable way to fly. WHATCHUWANT?"

Very nice. After looking at the other thread, I must remind you to get trip medical insurance. I think super "charter me a flight out" rates were less than $100 for each of us when we did MLE last year. It was comforting to have than in our back pocket given our proximity to a top class medical facility.

They also tie in other insurance with the policy, such as lost bags and the like. We used http://www.travelguard.com/.

Indeed it is. I've already stated that - since I don't have non-stop international service from BNA - I'll just fly to/from wherever the 330 gets stationed.

Good to know. There were, literally, 50 Express pilots and FA's hanging out behind the wall behind Schlotzkies (sp?) eating baked potatoes the size of North Dakota loaded with pulled pork.

They make these in BNA as well - it was my dinner when I came to interview. In these parts, loaded potatoes include butter, bacon, chives, cheese ...

Good to know. I'll keep the existing DL 767 to EWR rather than routing via DFW in order to save my marriage, I think, but knowing that those flights are there can be helpful I'm sure.

I had to go to the doctor in Thulusdhoo , in the Kaafu Atoll after my encounter with Mr Sea Urchin.

Traditional methods didn't work?
