I cannot confirm that this has happened to me... but I do know on good authority that they no longer serve Christmas Ale by the pitcher at GLBC... because bad, bad, BAD things happen when they used to. Oh, the stupid things we used to do when we were young.

And I would like to think we have a bit more to offer than GLBC, but that is a nice start!

And what a fine place to start! ^

The food is good, too. I'll give you that. I was somewhat disappointed that the river wasn't on fire. My high school history textbooks had gotten my hopes up.

A glass of Imperial Stout and another of barley wine is enough to waste anyone.

Blame CO 1E for the silliness that night. He should have known better! :D

I lost my way somewhere around the second pint of 16% Imperial Stout.

That's what it was. I'd probably be dead if I'd had two pints of the Stout.

Who says we have to be young to do stupid things?

And Christmas Ale is my most bestest drinking choice during the holidaze.

I hate that they are required to serve it to you in little sippy cups. More Is More!

No kidding. The only time I've ever missed a flight came after a night of drinking with CO 1E. Thankfully, I still managed to get to SJU that day... :D

Well, not everyone. ;)

It is times like these where I hope my employment situation is cleared up quickly so that I can begin planning the Fall 2009 SAN Brewery Do. Mmm...beer. :D

Either the stout or the barleywine was in that range. It was something unreasonably high, above the usual -marker of 12%.

Stilton-cheddar beer soup. It is a must-have at every visit to the brewery.

As for the river...

CLE needs to host a January GLBC DO. I foresee much incoherent shouting, ice-ball fights in the streets, inadvisable attempts at body-surfing in a slushy lake, and possibly the inside of a Cuyahoga County Hoosegow...
