I was going to write this until I saw CM's post. Completely agree.
In other things. Dear Monster, I noticed in the February 28th near worthless e-mail an interesting position for contract works with your firm. A suggestions. You may not want to post things for your own company that have the following statement. "DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS FEBRUARY 27, 2009" It makes you look  |
In a case of ??? I took This Photo last night/early this morning to change my avatar on Flickr. I wasn't expecting anyone to click on that photo. This morning I figured the 7 views were bored box people sitting at airports. I looked just now and there have been 101 views? I don't even have it in the DO set, there's no description, no tags, nothing but the photo.

7-2 Devils. The first goal against was a complete screen, and the second one was an inadvertent tip in an attempt to block a shot.

Hey Xyzzy - this is a very timely post. I need a parking spot for PHL next week, so I will give PacificoValet a try. Do they pick you up in your own vehicle for the return or do you have to get a shuttle?

Guess I won't have to be at work early to say Hi. :D
There's other places to park at EWR besides the PANYNJ parking garage? |

I was feeling so rotten by the end of last night, I knew I wouldn't make my 06:00am CMH-IAH, so I switched to later flights. Just unbundled myself from a 02:45 Chautauqua CR2 flight, enjoying alternating muscle cramps and chills the entire way... |

Let's just say your Flickr site is popular and people will click on anything! |

I think Winner (more or less right next to Pacifico on Essington Ave) is less expensive.

You call and they pick you up in your own car! They then drive you back to their place where you pay. For a little more you can arrange (when you drop the car of) to pay when they bring the car to the airport and just leave from there. I didn't choose that option. They have a coupon here.
How long does it take to go through the process with each of these places? I have a 3pm flight out of PHL on Tuesday. Need to drive down 95 from central NJ. Planning to leave around midday to give me plenty of time in case I hit traffic. Never driven to PHL before, or flown out of there, so I need to get my bearings. I live closer to EWR and usually fly out of there, but this is a MR and the fare was considerably cheaper out of PHL. |

I need fashion advice from the box. Next week I have a sort of interview. It's my first non 100% engineering interview so I'm in debate on what color tie I should wear. If this was a normal engineering interview I wouldn't have a problem. This interview is for an instructor type position at a large state run university and I be in with women (one older, one younger who I know) instead of white haired old men. These people are use to working with not only academia but also government people. Should I go the typical ultra conservative, white shirt with a simple in style gray, navy blue, or burgundy tie, or go with a color less stuffy but still nice? Suit likely will be navy blue. Any thoughts or suggestions?
By the way, I'm an Org Psych consultant, and I consult in several different industry streams - retail, finance, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceutical, etc. As long as you are neat and presentable, not too wild and wacky, you will be OK. |
We're watching Tropic Thunder, which I haven't seen since we saw it in a theatre. I can't help it; I can't stop laughing.
