Not sure if I mentioned this already. This was announced on my LAS-EWR flight "Ladies and gentlemen, the captain is reporting that the computer is picking up some electronic devices. Once those are turned off, we can push back from the gate and be on our way. thanks".

Was this computer his cell phone picking up blue tooth signals?

Must be the same system that tells them a few pax still don't have their seat belts fastened.

On this same flight, we heard "Welcome aboard Continental's golden jet service to Newark this evening" I never heard that one before either

Tripp is always in E and makes good drinks. Charlie usually is in C North, IIRC.

So, does anyone know how to figure out which PC Charlie will be working at next Friday afternoon? I figure we should pay him a visit as we start collecting for the Do. The drinks really are better. He was in C North last time I passed through on a Friday, but that was a couple months ago.

Or are we all going to just go to E since it is the largest?

SPG Award or Pay Question..

Im staying at The Park Lane Hotel, London. A cat 5 hotel booked 5 nights using 5th night free at 48,000 starpoints, which was a good deal when I reserved it in Aug of 08. Now the rate is 680 GBP for 5 night, which comes to about $980 USD. So I ask, Pay or use the points?

Though it doesn't mean anything in the least, the party flight arrived at gate C30 yesterday and today.

Don't forget the VAT, which is now 15 percent, which makes it close to $1150.

I found an even better deal now 107 GBP a night... :)

If you cancel between 01/27/2009 and 06:00PM hotel time on 03/03/2009, there will be no forfeiture amount. If you cancel after 06:00PM hotel time on 03/03/2009, the forfeiture amount will be GBP 537.00. There may be additional applicable charges and taxes.

He'd certainly be better to have on a flight than the goon who use to play for the Bruins that has the same name as me. (not talking my screen name, that's a steam locomotive)
