The holier-than-thous in UA just told me that I should have added to a five-day-old thread that was not on the first page of the forum...I have no problem searching (when it works) but the article headline that I posted a link to contained "idiots" in the title. Can't search the UA Forum on that word...

You just got that thing. :eek: I was about to bite the bullet and get one next week but I'm starting to hear about crashing happening in the past few days. :( I'm sure sbm12 would say you should have got it in white and not have any of these problems.

While I would love to upgrade from my eeePC to an Acer, I think I am going to hold off a couple months until things shake out more (and I can write it off....).

Plus, well, I just got a Dell M1330 for my business and it would be hard to justify another unit to my accountant.

Your "accountant" sounds like the same type of someone that is my personal assistant, fashion consultant and interior designer.

Indeed. She is my accountant, angel investor, not so silent partner, best friend, travel partner and, oh yeah, Mrs. MBM3! ^^

It's strictly a driving thing. Morning flights are out of the question as it requires driving on I-95 at rush hour which easily adds 45 minutes to the trip.

One of my partners insists on taking the first flight from CAK - LGA since it is much cheaper than CO these days (for day trip). As such, his happy a$$ is getting out of bed at 04:00 for the :45 - :60 drive down I-77....

:td::td:

Disagree. There's two IAH flights and one or two flights to the hublet that can be rush hour beaters.

I've taken the 6:30a PHL-CLE twice and have a third one booked, but not done the early IAH. No issues for me.

How's the screen on that thing? I ask because I use to have the predecessor to that machine at my last job and I liked the computer a lot (great battery life with the upgraded battery that stuck out the front) but hated the screen as it was fuzzy from the built in privacy screen and that made it impossible to use in couch because I couldn’t open it up enough without hitting the seat back in front of me.

I'm usually on US when I fly out of PHL. :(
