When I flew US with an unhealthy frequency I was a (paying) member of the US Club. Worst $350 someone else spent. They are worthless. And dirty.

I wounder if this will be the case as CO has some exceptions for parts of the Americas now don't they?

Don't worry. I have been in the liquer pump rooms in LAS Vegas and they are fine. And yes I said that right. The call or house brands of liquer for the LAS resorts are typically on a gun system. In the liquer pump rooms I have been in they have a wall bulit with 20 to 30 stations with 1.5 liters upside down being pumped into the syste. Across a short isle there is a pallet of liquer for each type that gets replaced weekly if not soon. AKA they have the same liquer turnover as the Baglady Household!

The Freddies were fun and I am glad I came down. Currently pool side enjoying the sunny day in Florida and watch the local wildlife complete the circle of life. Going to head out later on but nice to watch the planes come and go from the airport.

It is days like this that I say perhaps a job that allows and understands my need to travel is the best one to have. If I could just get a roommate and they could basically pay for my travel!!

Sorry to hear about the job CM, hope the next one is it!

Gr:rolleyes:an, late arrival into Vegas and early conference calls.

Morning Box.

From Jersey during the night, I would take the GWB-Cross Bronx-Deegan-Triboro-GCP route.

A few more miles up the turnpike, but a whole lot less driving in the city.

Did you mean 5:45am departure? CO633? If so, the fiancee and I are on that flight too. She is going to Houston while I am going to MSY for the bachelor party.^

I make it a point to complain when hotels do that.

I've only been in two hotel rooms that had the correct aspect ration and they were both in the UK this year. Never had it correct in the US. :td:

I"ve heard a few people say that too. They also claim it works better during rush hour if you know the quickest way across the GWB.

that is when it is nice to have a phone that has TV remote on it as well, so you can find the aspect ratio button!

Sounds like a good reason to not live in NYC or the area :D

There is no best route. The key is to be flexible with your route. I have consecutive buttons on my radio programmed for traffic reports. 880 on the 8s (when they don't have some dumb sporting event on) 1010 on the 1s, and 1130 on the 5s. I'd be willing to bet that the GWB->Cross Bronx would have been a better choice for you at the time you went. Then again, that could have been messed up too.

Not one to brag....oh what the heck, sold some RIMM stock (Blackberry) at $70. Made a tidy 47% profit to pay for my MRs. :)

If you when I do have a small consulting bill I will send your way for reminding you!! ;)

Turn around! Don't want to burn only one side of this white boy!!

This location would be great is they had the bigger planes landing on the runway near the hotel here. Also if the frequency was a little bigger. FLL Hilton. This hotel has a nice rooftop outdoor patio on the HHonors level that over looks the airport very well. Makes for a nice place to view the planes at all times.

Vegas without booze? Never. Clearly the supply trucks came in, I'm feeling the after effects already.

Nice. I multi-day traded JAVA for a 38% profit. Need to find my next target.

Regarding best route to LGA - I'd go with the GWB/CBE/Deegan/Triboro/GCP route as others have mentioned. But, yeah, definitely consult the radio before you head out for any traffic advisories.

I can make it from the TZB to LGA in 25 minutes in the early am (via 87 to the Triboro) to put the trip in a bit of a perspective. (And I've only been pulled over once whilst making the trip that fast.)

They didn't make an exception for UA customers, I highly doubt you'll see it fro CO. Remember, US clubs equal torn seats, no free booze, and no free wi-fi.

Why bother.
