Just sitting here at my desk at the Sheraton in Garden Grove working on this week's client trip report when the room starts to shake, and the walls creak a little. Pretty freaky. In all the times I've been to California, I've never felt an earthquake. Now I have.

Not my first one though, as I had a similar little jolt a few years ago in Anchorage. But this one was definitely more noticeable, and shook for longer (maybe 20-30 seconds).

CO got a special award for the poker tourney and came in 2nd for best elite program in N America.

I had one during the Patriot's first Super Bowl win (centered under LAX, I was at the LAX Hilton). Had another last year - the one in Illinois that most definitely woke me up.

Now don't be spreading any good words about the hublet... You might ruin it for us poor souls living here.

I've traveled most of the country for thirty five years. I've found a lot of places I enjoy visiting. Haven't found anyplace I would want to stay more than here.

I have a 15 y.o. son too -- he is always wanting $ to go out to eat w/his friends, in town. But since his sister is a senior, she won't let him hang out w/her & her friends, who drive everywhere (& spend a lot of $)! Having teens gets expensive!
