CLE needs to host a January GLBC DO. I foresee much incoherent shouting, ice-ball fights in the streets, inadvisable attempts at body-surfing in a slushy lake, and possibly the inside of a Cuyahoga County Hoosegow...

Blame CO 1E for the silliness that night. He should have known better! :D

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'd be up for a CLE DO. I haven't been there (well, outside of the airport) in years.

No kidding. The only time I've ever missed a flight came after a night of drinking with CO 1E. Thankfully, I still managed to get to SJU that day... :D

Wow. I've lived here since 1988 - and had no idea you could have that much fun here - all in one night!

That's what it was. I'd probably be dead if I'd had two pints of the Stout.

It happens sometimes. I was glad to see that the old liver could still handle a multi-day shock-test in BRU.

One of my colleagues went to the Brickskeller for a "Strong Ale" tasting last night. 11 five-ounce servings of ales between 6.5% and 11.5% for $35, plus a lecture. I had to cancel, unfortunately, due to .

A shame. Now that we've bagged BRU, I highly recommend a Box Outing at some point in the future to SZG. The monastery there brews some crazy strong ale. A "small" comes in a half-litre earthenware tankard. You don't even want to know what a couple of large ones will do to you. I imagine there's a certain local FTer there that would be up for it. A Flyertalk  Legend, no less.
