On another bright note for Cleveland, the Clinic continues to expand and plans a national laboratory:

Oh you know I will do another dinner 'do soon enough.

Wow. I've lived here since 1988 - and had no idea you could have that much fun here - all in one night!

Blame CO 1E for the silliness that night. He should have known better! :D

Hey, I was just doing my part as a good GLBC supporter. How was I to know that ALCO would encounter a freak occurence of lightweightedness? ;)

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'd be up for a CLE DO. I haven't been there (well, outside of the airport) in years.

No kidding. The only time I've ever missed a flight came after a night of drinking with CO 1E. Thankfully, I still managed to get to SJU that day... :D

At another great location - DC's famous Brickskeller!

I'll place my attorney on retainer. Please forward all correspondence to "Dr. Gonzo."

That's what it was. I'd probably be dead if I'd had two pints of the Stout.

I managed to have two pints of the Stout and a glass of barley wine and still function, somehow. ;)

It happens sometimes. I was glad to see that the old liver could still handle a multi-day shock-test in BRU.

One of my colleagues went to the Brickskeller for a "Strong Ale" tasting last night. 11 five-ounce servings of ales between 6.5% and 11.5% for $35, plus a lecture. I had to cancel, unfortunately, due to .

You held up pretty well. Thank goodness we had all that Kriek to wash down the stronger brews.

You'll wonder why you live in NJ after you spend some time here :)

A shame. Now that we've bagged BRU, I highly recommend a Box Outing at some point in the future to SZG. The monastery there brews some crazy strong ale. A "small" comes in a half-litre earthenware tankard. You don't even want to know what a couple of large ones will do to you. I imagine there's a certain local FTer there that would be up for it. A Flyertalk  Legend, no less.

Agreed. The last time I was in the city and not just the airport was 1998.
