You take it back! Or perhaps we should consult Steph3n; after all, a man who churns his own butter must know something about cheese.

I wonder if the butter churning process ever went horribly awry and he ended up with a cheeselike product.

drank many Belgian and other brews. Didn't get kicked out. Made the uneventful walk to the boy's place after 5 or 6 good ones. Thanks to my fellow box denizens for walking me through the unexpected stick-it-to-the-ex encounter ^

I have three Briggs & Riley bags and in general am very happy with them. My two roller bags are nearly two years old, and the smaller one that I travel with almost every week looks like it — it's in need of a good cleaning on the outside, but inside it's perfect. And nothing has ever gone through the bag and gotten to my clothes. I once watched some COEX baggage handlers drop that bag in a huge puddle after taking it off an ERJ, and it arrived at the jetway totally soaked on the outside, but completely dry inside. I've had one issue with a zipper on it, but thanks to their lifetime guarantee, which even covers airline-inflicted damage, it was repaired free of charge.
In addition to the two roller bags, I have a computer bag of theirs that's just over a year old, and it still looks brand new, inside and out. It's a heavy bag — weight is one issue I've had with their bags, as they're all pretty heavy, even when empty — but unlike all the other computer bags I've had over the years, this is the first that has made it a full 12 months without falling apart. And not only has it not fallen apart, but it still looks brand new. As far as I'm concerned, they're worth the price. My only wish is I had gone with black instead of red on my roller bags, since the red shows every speck of dirt and grease that gets on the bag, but they have been extremely durable, and my travel habits tend to be very rough on luggage. Next year I will most likely have to purchase a new 21"-22" wheeled carry-on suiter and will be looking into Briggs & Riley and Travel Pro as they both seems to make very high quality bags. |
"...Speaking of bad beer - the worst I ever had was in early 1995. The experience was so traumatic I remembered when I had this six pack. However, I was dirt poor and couldn't waste beer. I shouldn't mock it too much given I now live in Tennessee..."
Quote feature seems to be :rolleyes::rolleyes: Worst beer I ever had was Cave Creek Chili beer. Longneck bottle of mediocre beer with a chili pepper inside. Only beer I've ever dumped down the drain. |
