Yeah, and it loses its charm the second time. That, along with the silly "bling" on the teeth of the life jacket flight attendant, and the "whoosh" and "click" noises that are accented when putting away carry on items and fastening seat belts. The whole thing is way overproduced and gets old quickly, in my opinion.

I may have witnessed history here at EWR. I actually saw a Q4 land on 11 in between arrivals on 22L. :eek:

I think you did witness a very unusual occurrence. Of course, if you listen to the CO/Colgan/Q-400 PR people, it happens all the time and has completely solved the afternoon delay problems at EWR. :rolleyes:

Within the next 6 months I may have to stop my travels, my life has taken an unexpected detour :)

Instead I may be operating a travel related business, but severly limit my own! :eek:!

I am 8 of 23 on the upgrade list... to MSY! :eek:

There's a sizeable flight standby list as well. I'm off to the gate to try my bump-luck.

I just landed on 11 on a Q4 several weeks ago, and on another occasion a few months ago. Landed on 11 on an ERJ just a couple of weeks ago.

Sounds like my flight to ORD. I know I will be sitting in Y. That's okay, am now just hoping for a bump like you are. Although I'm not sure what they would do when all flights are zero'd out for the rest of the day.
