Are you saying she's a chip off the baglady block?

Look on the bright side. She did it at home, with you. Could have been at pre-school with a real boy. :p

Boys know enough at that age to know that girls have cooties. Older and wiser, my left foot! :D

I have been there, my friend, and it no amount of window dressing makes it pretty. My condolences and best wishes for getting through the inevitable grief - may it be mercifully brief.

I would suggest something a bit less drastic than what I did when last this happened to me... perhaps planning a crazy Asian expedition is in order. I've decided you can't just up and move to Scotland every time adversity strikes. I've resolved to move to Amsterdam should I ever go through that again. :D

Thanks ALCO!

Why are the judges being so nice on American Idol tonight? That's not why I watch.

I just read they editied the snide comments out this year.

That's what we need at the DO, I'll play Simon, the old Simon.

Haha. I was a ladies man on the playground at age 5. I remember coming home one day at lunch after half-day kindergarten and telling my parents I was going to marry both Amy and Ginger, two girls in my class. And the next day I added Joanna to that list. Funny how things turned out quite different in the end. :D

I witnessed my 5-year-old nephew being pushed to the ground by my three-year-old second-cousin (girl) at the family Christmas party this year. I gave him some friendly words of advice: "get used to it" :D

I love that video of the cat on the Roomba.

Yeah, it's cute. Our younger cat would probably do something like that. We don't have a Roomba, but he is fascinated by the full-size vacuum. The other cat disappears whenever it's on, but the younger one is all into "helping" you vacuum. He really enjoys it if something has spilled and he can see the vacuum actively sucking up stuff into it.

My roomba tried to escape. I somehow pushed the trash can I was using as a barrier, ran accross the dining room and got it wedged under the laundry room sink.

I have learned, yet again, never to put any stock into my gut instinct as to how I thought I did on exams. The two classes I thought I bombed, I aced. The two I thought I aced... B+. Oh well.

In unrelated news, I'm quite pleased that tonight has been one of those nights where my biggest decision was between 13%abv Belgian Ale and 17%abv Belgian Ale. :D

Im very sorry to hear that.

Sadly, yes. My carbon copy, save her father's eyes.
