I tried to make salsa once. It tasted like pumpkin.
3 Fresh tomato ends with cut off, I like roma sized 1 Bell pepper or poblano(I like pobalno) 2 cloves of garlic at least medium sized 1 whole white onion(1/2 is super sized) 1/2 to whole jalapeno depending on taste with seeds removed depending on heat preference handful of cilantro cumin powder, about 1/2 tsp at least, can add later to taste salt and pepper to taste 2tsp white vinegar splash of Worcestershire sauce put this all in a food processor and run it till processed down but still a bit chunky, you may need to add a touch more vinegar and spice but you should end up with a pretty salsa that is a bit greener than storebought and oh so much better! |

That would mean I'd have to move to the good TV with the cable box and no internet.

Yeah, it is. I barely slept last night because of it. It's probably worse because I'm home this week, which means work is a little slow during the day, so I don't have it to keep my mind occupied on other things.
It's funny how pets can sense your mood. Last night my cat (guess he's too big to refer to as a kitten now) was very cuddly and stayed very close all night. Anyway, this situation will pass. It's not the end of the world. Just feels like it right now. :( Pets are amazing. Their ability to know just when you need them is so keen. I'm glad he's there. Being home does make it harder because more time gives you more time to ponder and that's never a good thing. Thank God for FT! :) |

I just gave our Cuisineart away. It hadn't been used in the six years we've lived here and I figured it wasn't going to get used anytime soon. I can go to whole foods, buy fresh salsa and be home before I can make this and have the cuisineart cleaned :) |
