Does the warranty cover dropping it in water?

The Astros and the Red Sox are "my teams". The Astros have not always been so bad...

So I decided to give the aLoft outside of DFW a try and I have to say i'm quite impressed. I definitely like it a lot more than a 4P.

As soon as Wimax is available in Houston, I'll seriously consider it. I want to kiss AT&T DSL good-bye. I wouldn't even think about Comcrap.

I've been pretty happy with Comcast. I was up with cable and internet less than 24 hours post-Ike. (Digital phone was no so good for my neighbors, I had everybody over using my MaBell land line for a couple of days.)

If they did whole-house DVR, I'd be really happy,

Good to hear - I really want to try one.

If that's the case, none of us are going through SFO until you are well! Keep us posted and I hope it all goes well. If you have surgery, the good news is, more time for FT!

I'll let you know on Monday, that's when I see the doctor next. Of course I am now an expert at reading MRIs since having just gone thru this with my son. I'll be able to tell you what I need tomorrow.

I don't think I'll be laid up for more than the same day I have surgery but because my job requires me to be able to open and close aircraft doors I get to sit at home until I am completely healed. I love sick pay.

I highly recommend it and there's one in Las Colinas just a few miles from DFW.

Do you have to let your family know that? Milk it baby, milk it!

Something minor now may be cheaper than something major later.

Woops. The bright side is you get to go shopping for a new and better model.

baglady Mar 18, 2009 9:31 pm

I met up with a friend tonight and she was lamenting that she probably wasn't going to hit silver this year (she was gold last year). I told her she could do some MRs. She looked at me like I had just sprouted horns. Then I told her about J Edward and she may think I've joined a cult now.

I take it you don't have health insurance.

Their DVR software is pretty awful. Sometimes I wonder why I'm paying for the privilege of two of them. That said, I recall seeing a Comcast commercial touting whole home DVR that included a web address to learn more. Unfortunately I didn't think to note the URL and I never saw the ad again nor has google helped me out.:rolleyes:
