FlyerTalk Forums - The Penalty Box

Well first Saturday in May there is the event in Louisville known as the Kentucky Derby. You would need to fly into CVG ($140+/- from BWI) and stay a ways out of town but it is something to see.

Other attractions to fill out the weekend would be some of the Bourbon whiskey distilleries down toward Bardstown, the Louisville Slugger museum, and downing beers with Spiff who, on that weekend each year, does that at Churchill Downs. At all other times, he does that wherever it is that he happens to be. :)

BL JR did a stellar job filling out the bracket :rolleyes: Basically as long as it had the word Texas, California or Oklahoma in it (No clue why she likes Oklahoma - we have no family there and she's only been there once; must be Scott6067 ;) ) she picked it. She may win for worst guesser because she has Texas vs A&M in the finals. Like that will happen :rolleyes:

Plus1 went all safe and has all four #1 picks in the final 4 - equally :rolleyes:

I'm not up to my normal box behavior as i'm box'ing in the midst of a cross country drive.

My trip to Chuck E Cheese was costly. While filling my Diet Coke, my hand hit the coke which poured over my phone (which replaced my phone that went down during the box mini do in Feb) and it's been dying over the past 30 hours and is about down for the count. All I can do is sort of make calls and sort of read emails. Going to see if I can get the new HTC Fuze tomorrow at the AT&T store; otherwise will switch my sim card to my Hong Kong phone until it gets here.
