Yes they do. I will likely request one for upgrade in advance (as we arrive around 1am, and I don't want to run the risk that they have one, but it hasn't been cleaned) by emailing the GM.

Don't mention that in the SPG Forum. They will  out.

Our flight ELP-IAH tomorrow is zeroed out (with two people on the standby list) and I have a seat in F. We have agreed that my wife will take the bump. I see that DL has a couple of F seats open on their flight that leaves 30 minutes later.

What are the chances of getting my wife in the F seat on DL? Everything else tomorrow on CO zeroed out as well.

SAN is plenty neat.  ;)

IME, CO is reluctant to put passengers in F on other carriers. I have never been turned down when asking for an F seat on CO, but it has been hit or miss when the F seat was on a different carrier (SkyTeam or not). Bottom line, it never hurts to ask.

Good luck!

I have been accommodated in F on DL when I was booked into F on CO (Y-Up). But I agree that getting them to go for a partner flight AND to make it in F is unlikely.

Beer-can chicken is a great recipe for dinner. For starters, you have to drink half a beer. Then you keep drinking beer while watching it for an hour and a half on the grill. Not too shabby.

Plus the crispy skin covered in Montreal Chicken Seasoning is delicious.

The catch here is that there is no Y availability on DL on the ELP-ATL segment.

There are also AA flights that have F only availability. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I will mention that it is SOP for CO to overbook by 2. I do hope it works out for you though. Interesting that you got your wife to agree to fly later. Me thinks you and ALCO have been busy brewing a special recipe to get the wife/wife to be to agree to such terms or is it just the CO Blue kool-aid coming through! Also you could go ahead and book back-up flights on AA and have those for the agent to use. AA lets you hold flights until 15 minutes before departure.

Thanks everyone, for all the good wishes. All the paperwork has now been FedEx'd back, and I already got a drug test in - so it has been a busy day.

It will make tomorrow's trip to MXP even more relaxing! I'll only be at EWR for a short time tomorrow, but I'm buying at the PC for any of you who are there between 5-6 pm.

And I'll be in the greater NYC area now and then, which means I'll be sure to plan some Box get-together time. Looking forward to it, in fact!

Congrats again! Hope all the beer from St. Patties was outta the system before the test! :) Yall have fun in Milan.

I'm curious to know where you got this info from. I'd be surprised if this number is fixed across all routes as I always assumed it was figured on a route by route and day by day basis.

It seems pretty standard although I think it is adjusted as needed.

Hartmann, are you assuming the oversell based on the PDA site?

A combination of not being able to book seats in Y on CO.com, SeatCounter, and the PDA site.

OK. just recall the trick that Baglady talked about last friday to see if those are pass riders. My flight to NRT was not selling a week out and they didnt need volunters, seems like there were a lot of CO folks wanting to get onto the flight.

As a side not, I think they up-oped several people on this flight to get all the people that they could on the plane. unfortunately I and another FT were not the lucky ones.

I must have missed her mentioning the trick.

I know that if the people show up on the standby-list and the upgrade standby-list then they are more than likely non-revs. On our flights, the standbys are not on both.
