You're forcing me to un-repress those memories.

PHL Envoy lounge of course. But if you don't have access to it, I like the one in the F'ed terminal better than the one over the food court. It's newer (and therefore in slightly better shape) and smaller. The down-side is, it's not worth the schlep if you're not flying USEx.

In CLT, I always preferred the one that fills the wedge between the C and D concourses (I think that's the designation for those terminals. The one behind what was the tequileria, near the Starbucks). It's massive, but I preferred it to the stand-alone in the B concourse.

Keep in mind that seat width measurements are not standardized the same way pitch measurements are, so the same seat can have somewhat significantly different measurements on width depending on what the carrier reports.

I've not done the E90 yet so I don't know that it is the case with US, but it is worth keeping in mind.

I will be doing the E90 in F next week.

I just watched the first two episodes of Castle off of the DVR. Fun show - he's a nutcase and she's really hot and has a control problem. Not your typical cop show. :D

Do tell when you're done. After *A, I might seek it out...it has seemed to be a great niche filler, and I'm interested to ride one, but I'd rather get usable miles for said ride.

A friend forwarded this to me:

All I could think of was, where else but the box for a bat outta hell?

It think it's because so many are now standing around with fewer people flying they are being stupid as usual to keep them employed. Now it really does sound like a jobs creating organization.

I was at the Whiskey Bar at the W in NYC and asked for their whiskey menu. They told me that was just the name of the place and that they had no special menu or whiskey. Definite    for me.

I knew a guy who got Tango Foxtrotted in a bathroom stall at the Whiskey bar. Not sure how fine it was.

Anyone have any three day weekend vacation suggestions for late April or early May anywhere in the US that actually has something to do? I need cheap flight so that means PHL departure.:( The following places are not on the list. Florida, LAS, SEA, HNL, SFO, LAX, BOS, MSY, and PHX.

windwalker Mar 18, 2009 1:56 pm

oh show me the way to the next whiskey bar
oh don't ask why
oh don't ask why

i tell you we must die

Kinda gives new meaning to Jim's word

Last I looked, PHL-DUB was pretty darned cheap (and good EQM-wise if routed via IAH :p) ... if you want to stay domestic you're looking at SEA/PDX unless something else cheap has popped up. I did note some $179 fares PHL-FLL for late April, but I think those are gone now.
