It takes real work, and real loyalty, to be a fan of an underdog team ;)

We just experience heartache on different level. We blow hundreds of millions on top name players only to have the season end in September or to be knocked out in the first round of the playoffs.

I know, boo hoo, no one feels bad for the Yankees... :)

We are experiencing some  at the moment. With any luck, Pudge Rodriguez, and the rumored Pedro Martinez signing will at least help us back to mediocrity. We desperately need a credible No. 2 pitcher behind Roy O, though.

I'm hoping Hunter Pence returns to Rookie season form this year and starts tearing it up. If so, he could be our next Bagwell.

Pudge should be a decent (short term) pick up for you guys. Unfortunately, I'm not sure Pedro is going to do much anymore - he's definitely a different pitcher compared to who he was with Boston.

My apologies, my question was referring to baseball.

Nothing compared to the perpetual blue ballers that are the San Diego Chargers.

At least you've been to a Super Bowl. The Texans (and the Oilers before them) never went. The Oilers also had the dubious distinction of blowing the biggest lead in NFL History to the Bills... in the freakin' playoffs.

You'd think that, at some point, they would get more for that egregious outlay of cash if they invested in hookers and blow.

Anyone with a pulse would be better than most of our present pitching staff.

The Indians were interested in Pedro for awhile but felt he was too expensive given the potential downside. I think he still has some arm left in him, but not as a high level starter.

I love that someone has now used "boo hoo" in the box ;)

Why do you think the "new" Jankee stadium is remaining in the Bronx?

I think they prefer strippers and 'roids...

I remember sitting at home with my Dad watching that game. That was hands down the most insane thing I've seen in professional sports. Well, that day and the misdemeanor assault that James Harrison committed in Super Bowl XL.

Does that mean we might see ALCO as the Astros #2 starter this season?

I don't believe they serve drinks in the dugout, nor can you earn miles for being there, so probably not. ;)

Many tears were shed in H-Town that afternoon. It was Warren Moon's best chance at glory and a super bowl. I'm firmly convinced that had we blown-out the Bills that year, we would have made it to the big show. Instead, the Greasers did their typical playoff thing and choked, big-time.

They don't serve beer on the field. :D

Flying USAirways can pay.

Company started by a gentleman that got screwed by US one too many times. Seriously.

They have kiosks set-up in most US hubs. And I'm sure EWR sooner or later.
