Yeah. Among the voices I'm no longer hearing in my head are those to slow down. There's still other voices there, but the wedding-related ones are gone. :D

I've concluded in the past 5 minutes I'll have to ask for a box summary when I get home next week. No way I can figure out the going on's.

Lie flat Y exit rows have one advantage. You can squeeze your head between the head rest and the seat back and gain 3 inches of lieing room.

Hope this recall never affects anyone here

"Welch Allyn is recalling about 14,000 external defibrillators after nearly 40 reports of incidents, including two that involved patient deaths."

Mas aqui

I don't know why people stress over a wedding, if my bride to be is stresing over a wedding I am calling it off and breaking it off, not going to have stress over such petty things :D

I am not saying I don't take marriage seriously, when I get married the person will be right and it will be life long, I just don't see the need for senseless stress and if stress is high on wedding plans its going to be high forever.

My cousin got married and they had no stress, but it was stressful because of his mom. If my mom made my life as stressful as his had, I would have just told her she's not even welcome to come. Sometimes one has to put their foot down to make their live better. :D
His mom still reminds us every holiday how immature we were for throwing bubbles on them on the way out of the church to their honeymoon. Come on it was a tablespoon of soap...

The stress dies off after the wedding, and to a certain extent I'll give a bride a pass due to all the cultural norms of "most important day of your life", not to mention external family pressures that simmer down afterwards.

Now, the stress of having a newborn, that makes wedding planning look like a day at the beach.

I may be too quick to kick someone to the curb then ;)
I don't have time for the dating game now, I haven't dated in 6 years(same time I've been at this job) and don't really feel I am missing anything and my pocketbook loves me! I am still young haven't 'settled down' yet in that sense. I settle into a job, career, and such but not into the family part, and not really wanting to right now either.

All seems well so far, thanks. ^ If I land one of two prospects that I currently have, that will boost my stock tremendously, but one thing at a time. :)

I hope everything works out.

That's the second AED recall in about a year. It's good to see that the DOH is looking through the data that's sent to them. After every application on a patient health care providers (are supposed to) upload the data from the machine to their regional DOH and the manufacturer.

I've seen some pretty weird things, including detecting a shockable rhythm during asystole. I wonder if interference from things like a cell phone could have played a role in that (reference linked article).

At the end of the day, it's not a huge deal because human intervention can over-ride the advisement to shock. And, even if it's done there's no adverse reaction as there's only one degree of dead. But the failure to shock or losing charge as was indicated in the article is troubling (and something I've never personally seen - although we use Zoll).

If you call 9-1-1 for a cardiac problem in this neck of the woods you'll have 3 separate AEDs brought on scene. More is definitely more.

To further this very random post, for all (recent) ex-military folks, QuikClot is finally finding its way into street medicine. ^
