Do you still have any KE segments? If so, have you tried to obtain seat assignments? I've heard calling can be quite an ordeal if you are on reward tickets.

I got seat assignments months ago for NRT-ICN-BKK. No problems at all. The lady was very polite and helpful.

LOL. Hopefully there won't be any surgeries scheduled between XMas and New Year's. She claims they get two weeks vacation per year, and residents are generally encouraged to take their vacation in large chunks (rather than piecemeal, as 3-day weekends).

JFK-IAH is a DL CR9.

I know that they encourage the contiguous vacations. I just hope she gets that time off. Generally the holidays are hard for the new kids, though in surgery she's got a chance.

Wouldn't that be rather redundant?

^ Good to know. I was putting it off because of all the negative things I had read.

I figured it was better to have some reservations in place whilst the award inventory was there. Worst comes to worst, we'll just redeposit and plan a vacation for some time that she can get off. Hopefully we'll know before the October transition to *A, so I can get some final flights in on SkyTeam carriers I haven't tried.

Thanks - I'll give it a few days.

Having reward tickets is not a problem with respect to getting seat assignments. The only minor problems I have ever encountered is getting phone reps whose English skills leave a bit to be desired. You should spoonfeed them the seats that you want, however. DL reward reservation changes with CO miles always take awhile to update IME.

Thanks for the warning. :) I see the number is in LA, but I know they have a large Korean population there so I can still understand the language barrier.

Most of the calls I made seemed to have been routed to an offshore call center that I assumed was located in Korea or the Philippines.

Accounting sucks. I'm sure that it is better for me in the long run, but I have no idea what I am doing and I'm trying to get my business numbers into the system and it it a royal pain. It probably doesn't help that I have no idea what I'm doing. But it is really annoying.

Afternoon Box.

Made it back to SFO, late, mis-connected and got rebooked on a later UA flight. Picked up some food as UA's F catering is :rolleyes: and am wedged into a F seat on a 767 that is only an inch wider than Y. Oh well, at least they've got IFP.

:eek::eek::eek:

It most certainly does not, sir! :mad:

Accounting makes the world go round. :)

That said, what's giving you the headache?

I've spent my day with two ladies who believe that the more you get done to your face, the better. I am still (almost) in the belief that aging gracefully is a good thing. I like being able to see someones eyebrows move. Is it just me? Is Dallas really that different from Houston or I just hang out with the wrong people in Houston?
