Agreed - time spent exploring the lake/canal area is a must, IMO. I'm not much of the fishing type though - I have a short attention span. :D

What hotel are you guys looking at in PTY? I'm not normally a big 4P fan, so I'm thinking of the Marriott (although, the rate goes through the roof on Sunday night).
It looks like I can work in an IAH connection both ways for just over $300 - not bad... Any karaoke bars in Panama? :p

I don't really fish either. Hence the beer part. I probably would spend most of the time just getting a sun tan and drinking beer, but doing it while fishing seems like a good idea for no apparent reason.

What is PWP? I looked here, and from that list, just assume it is the sixth definition listed.
It was born out of the AMS thread where several of us had over a thousand posts each in that thread in the span of a week. I think the most was 5K from any one person. From that week the concept of "more is more" was born and continues to live now in just about any way we can possibly apply it. |

I have yet to book a hotel. I should really get on that, huh? Then again, i completely dropped the ball and haven't booked my hotel for SxSW yet. Hartmann you still thinking of coming to AUS?
It is right around the time I am going to El Paso so we'll have to play it by ear. As far as hotels go in AUS, if you are going to have a car, just stay at the airport Courtyard, it's nice and only a 10 minute drive away. |

I'm pretty sure that cruisr knows of some other options up that way that allow for the views and relaxing without the fishing requirement. I think she posted them a couple pages back in the Box. Can we make one of the newbies go back and find that for us? Or is that type of hazing considered cruel and unusual? :p
