From my experience UA call centers are the worst and next to worthless when you try to cancel.

not sure. It seems the .com is held by a franchise of it. Maybe they didn't want to pay the franchise owner to have what should be the main site. Negotiations stall, and sometimes people get creative instead.

I thouhg that the US numbers that were disconnected were executive numbers , not their complaints line .

If you have status, you will still be able to get state side based call center people if you call during regular business hours.

Visiting my wife's family

Booked a room at the Doubletree for 79 bucks, but my wife got a call from her aunt last night. "don't waste your money, your cousin is the manager for the Ramada and that place is great, only 30 bucks a night for family" :eek::eek::eek:

Of course, my wife couldn't say no because she wouldn't want to sound like a snob..

What to do.... :confused:
