Just a curiosity--
I booked the same UA ORD-LHR run as ssullivan and I doubt I'll be able to make the trip. The base fare was $83, no YQ, and $175 in taxes for each ticket. Do I understand that taxes are only paid for actual flown flights? At this point, I don't feel bad about being out for the fare price, but having the taxes refunded or in a cert would be really nice. If I'm correct in my thoughts, what is the best way to go about this? .bomb or calling? |

I thought that was US... I think UA just closed the ICC. If you have status, you will still be able to get state side based call center people if you call during regular business hours. Well, I'm going to Bloomington, IL this weekend. (That's right...) Visiting my wife's family Booked a room at the Doubletree for 79 bucks, but my wife got a call from her aunt last night. "don't waste your money, your cousin is the manager for the Ramada and that place is great, only 30 bucks a night for family":eek::eek: Of course, my wife couldn't say no because she wouldn't want to sound like a snob.. What to do.... |

Oh, and instead of cream, I prefer egg yolk of Dodo. That reminds me, I need to educate my intern on where Dunkin' is. Do you prefer egg yolk of a young D:rolleyes:d:rolleyes: or an older D:rolleyes:d:rolleyes:? |
