Can you get it to price out as a multicity with ~half day stopover? It should theoretically price at LH's lowest fare, but might involve UA and ORD/IAD. correct?

Nevermind this. I looked up prices...
CO to EWR and then CO50 to FRA with lowest return flight is $908. To get on LH403, one would need to fly via UA in ORD, and return on LX/UA with stops in ZRH and ORD. Price: $1677

ETA: nonstop all legs on CO, LH403 and LH return is $2062
ETA: the CO flight (first result is 89, not sure what other flights work) on that itin is a B, so you'd be in F

Yeah, paying that much for that many stops and in Y, I'm not sure the other half would be too happy. Might as well pay $1500 for C and a direct flight.

For those who are anti-744 or A346, there's always the PHL A343. I know it's sacrilege to shy away from a party flight, but the option is out there.

I agree. I figured there might have been a way to do it. I think I'll be missing it due to price, since I don't have the $ for the TATL and the DO flights plus other expenses for the two of us.

Know anyone there? I'll even take something there at this point.

According to SeatGuru at least, the 343 seems to be a bit less  in Y for those who so choose. Just suggesting.

I'm all for the 346, I mean, it's a 343 on A-Rod steroids.

Must not be that exact one then, as I'm seeing $210 all in.
