If I would have let a Naval physician cut up my eyes with a scapel, I would have been one of those landing on a carrier deck (most likely an S-3B Viking initially, no idea what I would be stuck in now).

Second box of Presidential coins being delivered today.

A box might be a bit of a misnomer - I had to drive to the UPS warehouse yesterday for what was recorded as a 133 pound box (really 10).

If we are both booked in coach, we'll always book exit aisles across from each other.

We do the same and, more importantly, can live without each other for the flight should we get split up for some reason. With reading and iPods, we rarely talk anyhow!

I really do not understand couples who MUST sit within arms reach of each other at all times. If it to help alleviate fear of flying, fine, but otherwise deal with it!

Tell them you have airline management experience, even made your own private world to simulate it :D

Amazingly, I was able to book JFK-FRA(SQ)/MUC-JFK(LH) in C for January using UA miles.

In other news, the BD site is annoying. The search functionality for mileage postings doesn't work with the date ranges.

We didn't pick BD for their level of customer service. :D

I REALLY wanted to be a pilot as well, but gawd awful vision and growing to 6'4" dashed that idea pretty quick.

25 years later I much prefer sipping cocktails in back while talented professionals drive me to my destination. :D

I stopped growing upwards when I was 12, right at 6'2" no less. 6'4" was (at that time) permissible for rotary-wing aircraft.

We have dinner plans tonight. I threw away the paper with the details of where we're supposed to go. I'm pretty sure no one will be answering the phone if I call to ask. This is bad.

I am in the ATL A CRC, their food has hit a new level of low. Well the bailey's is still free.

I was just recently on a UA transcons. I was in 5B and a hubby and wife was in 5A and F. He asked me politely if I wanted to switch and I politely said no . He was fine with it and I'm guessing the marriage didn't fall apart because of it.

So I'm sitting at DCA, why must everyone talk so loudly amongst each other and tell their life story .

I really did not hit my growth spurt until I was 18. My first drivers license indicated 5'8" and my second 6'4". I still thought about pursuing it, but the vision was a big setback.

Mine needs to learn this too. She's not a nervous flyer, but she claims that takeoff and landing irk her while at cruise she's fine. I've never heard something so .

If only that would work. Despite the people I know at ACY, I don't think FL would be willing to waive the line item in the job description that says five years' experience in airlines.

I knew of a 6'5" F-16 pilot. Even his fellow pilots were shocked that he could fit in a -16 cockpit and be comfortable enough to fly. I sat in the front office of an F/A-18 and it made CO Y- feel like Intl. F.

I have lost all tolerance for loud talkers in public places, including Mrs. MBM3 who has a tendency to talk louder when she is on the phone.
