That is sadly true. NJ sucks on the state government level. Not that that statement has not stopped me from my attempt to become a government employee of sorts by trying to become a teacher in our state's blessed educational system.

I go stir-crazy if I stay in the same place for more than a few days and Hilton only has one property out there.

I am the same way, though I take a couple days to simply decompress from life and the long trip. By the end of our stay in the Maldives I was ready to try something new, which was DXB. Interesting place for a couple nights tops.

For the first time in 10 years, my son's school is offering Spanish 1-2 as a summer school course. :) Just goes to show you how many kids are currently flunking this course due to one teacher. Mine included.

Not looking forward to driving him 5 days a week but I'll do it to get rid of that F he has. Can't play sports unless you have a 2.0 and no F's. He wants to continue playing football.

I can only do about 5 days in any one place.

I think the way they teach languages here in the States to be pathetic. Yeah, lets get hung up on verb conjugation rather than building verbal communication skills. Imagine if we would teach our kids how to speak English in the same fashion?
