Fairly easily - fly to LHR, then onward to Rome. Use Expedia or such for end-on-end ticketing (and to be protected). Comes out in the $1,500 - $1,600 range if one will fly AZ on the continent.

He's not tall, about 5'8 and Irish. I watched fall asleep on our RyanAir flight from Sweden to Dublin and on our tourbus around Ireland. He can sleep anywhere.

Have no idea if he has tickets but he has friends everywhere and his brother plays soccer for Ireland.

Did you, by any chance, use KVS to find the TPAC availability on KE? I haven't seen any KE flights on there is several weeks and I just want to make sure that is is only because there is no reward availability rather than KVS no longer showing TPAC availability on KE.

I am not using KVS at all, just the NW tool and whatever the rep is telling me is available on KE. The rep found the KE flight without me having seen KE availability independently.

Most likely yes. Any spreadsheet can be used as a data source for a query and the join query should read them ok. You might need to set up a local DSN (Data Sources in the Admin Tools section of Control Panel) pointing to the specific files and then connect to them using the query builder tool, but it should work.

This reminded me about something...I was going to ask if anyone in The Box was a fluent Hebrew speaker. I was on a job board that was advertising for a part-time onboard translator for TLV flights.

ETA: It was US staffing up for PHL-TLV and the listing I saw has since been pulled...it was just the other day too.

The rep just came back after nearly an hour on hold and said she had spoken with five different supervisors about it and that they have to send it to some expert reward ticketing agent for processing and must call back tomorrow to speak with him.

sfogate, I think this noon thing can be an issue if cost is the issue. If he can leave SFO on CO at 11:10 AM (?) on the monday or tuesday, the fairs to the UK are real good. (BRS) then it would be easyjet or ryan from there. Also going through DUB is another option for cheap.

If she makes more $$ than dad and is just as happy doing what she does, mission accomplished. Now, if she will make more than mom the pediatrician, then +2 for mission accomplished!^ And, as long as the international business involves travel, we're going to have bring her on FT to learn about travel.:)
