I got proof they're selling seats while not upgrading elites.. Screen grabs from the pertinent info from the same flight. The upgrade list count is accurate because this morning when someone dropped from the cleared list (changed to another flight, dunno) they went poof, the seat count went up, and the number of seats for sale went up to 6.

I think this falls into the policy correctly. There are selling upgrades for the number of seats available (though I think it should be four, rather than six, unless the two people on the list are non-revs).

KNRG May 11, 2009 9:25 am

You really think they're non-revs?

sdm1130 May 11, 2009 9:25 am

On the phone with Thai Airways right now trying to change one of our flights. This is interesting...

Maybe. The real question is how many elites are booked into Y on the flight right now, not how many are showing on the list.

Assuming KNRG didn't pay the baksheesh and that they are not either of the two listed there are even more seats that should not be for sale. I think that CO effed up this implementation pretty good or they lied to us about the policy. But it has definitely not been implemented as initially advertised based on the evidence that flows into the forum daily.

Easy way to tell is to look at the flight standby list. If they are on both lists then they are non-rev.

ABR is, STE is not.

Hope was held for no screaming kids, and while I did get that I did not avoid ignorant speakers of languages other than Dutch who insist on talking over the narration.

If Air Bob did confirmably quit, I will drop him from the world. I haven't been on real internet at all this trip - trying to get on after dinner tonight.
