Could you redeem as F but confirm in coach , would you get the higher status on the waitlist ?

Yes, there are 2 seats available in Y - although, I'm not sure I want to give up confirmed F on NW for a chance at F on CO if there really is little chance of clearing.

Considering that the RTW desk rep practically begged me not to make any more changes (apparently there had been 20+ fare recalcs, which played havoc with the rates desk's attempts to do recalculations)... I think I'll leave it be. :D

Haha - Nice! :D

Besides, I like the idea of a new carrier, semi-obscure FM line (LAX-CAN-ICN), and the CZ hard-product on the 772 looks passable.

Fair enough - I can't argue with any of those reasons.

Yeah, especially since it is a 753, it is not worth the trouble, if you may end up in the back.

On a happier note, my wife also had an interview with a school district in the AUS area. They basically told her that she could have any of the four or five positions they have open. So she's pretty much guaranteed a job after we move. ^ to that.

Positive healing thoughts for your F-I-L & happy b'day wishes & congrats to your wife!

Sorry to hear, Mackieman.

Time to go see if the WiFi here actually works in the public spaces.

On most ocassions when I have been on an F reward but confirmed in Y, the seat usually never cleared until just before the T-24 mark.

My EWR-GRU flight on Thursday is looking pretty full.

I may have to bail, this makes me very unhappy.

The Brazilian Consulate in NY is a pain. They will only accept apps from 10am-noon and i've made two attempts both of which have failed.

You should have just sent me your passport - the Brazilian embassy is just up the street from my place. It probably is too late to do it with me, but you could still use an expediter.

Sounds like an excuse for Hemispheriphobia.

Wow - a real screen and a non-mobile website. Freakish looking after being connected to nothing but a BlackBerry for the last four days.

Now, if I had only known!

I'm looking up expediters right now, but the thought of doing that for a MR seems silly. :)
