It is one of those days...
Been researching how to map and plot GIS data. Haven't done this in nearly six years. |

The Mac store free WiFi by my house isn't working. :( I want to sit outside and enjoy the phenomenal sun today but I feel like I should be online more than I am. Tough decisions. |
What a weekend
Just now catching up on FT for the first time since Friday. It's been a crazy few days, starting with getting home Friday afternoon. About an hour after I arrived, my partner shows up home from work two hours before I expected him. Turns out he's sick again with what at first appeared to be the same stomach virus he had a month ago while we were in New York. As the evening progressed on, he got progressively worse, and we ended up making a trip to the ER around 10:30 PM. We were there until 9:15 AM Saturday morning, with him getting a couple of hours of sleep after we ended up with a room in the ER where he had a bed, and me sitting in the world's most uncomfortable chair. By the time we got home I had managed about 30-45 minutes of sleep (mainly because my body was just shutting down at that point from exhaustion). I had been up nearly 30 hours when we arrived back home, and Thursday night I had less than five hours of sleep. Saturday was a wash, with us sleeping most of the day. We thought he was stable, but late Saturday night he got worse again, and we were both up half the night dealing with that. Fortunately by Sunday morning he seemed to be on the mend, and yesterday he went back to work a little late, after getting an appointment with his primary care physician for ASAP so we can find out what's really going on. Since he was feeling well enough to do a partial day at work yesterday, and was showing signs of keeping solid food down, we decided I could go ahead and make my work trip this week.

Why would anyone pay for Wi-Fi at EWR? It's free in the PClubs and under the C1 PClub. :)

C138. It's like a sick joke. Its the hidden gate that does tel aviv secure departures. |
Good Morning Box.

Better question, why is wifi not free there
The place where the lack of free Wi-Fi really gets to me is in hotels. If I'm paying a few hundred to stay there each night why should I have to pay another $10-$20 a day (sometimes more) for Internet access? |
