So I am tired of not being able to easily sync with my G1 and will be getting a BlackBerry. I see no need for another touchscreen phone, but any suggestions for a new model BB? TMo is my carrier, but I can look unlocked if there is something better out there.

Late to reply here, but I have the BlackBerry Curve 8900 that was launched in the US with T-Mobile in February, and I LOVE it. Great handset, and a huge improvement over the previous Curve.

So I usually try to give the airlines/crew the benefit of the doubt (all those safety statistics n'at) and not be a drama queen. But if I have all this right:
PIC in command was new to the plane type combined with a fairly green FO PIC never simulated stall recovery in that aircraft FO was new enough to have never even seen ice on a plane before FO didn't even know how to properly fill out a log book FO had redeyed it back from a ski trip (something that I can't handle for my office job) PIC failed check rides left and right PIC thinks flying intersections instead of direct VOR is just too much work. FO was so sick she could barely get her numbers right and accidentally responded back to ATC instructions for another aircraft. Did I miss anything? I'm posting to the Box because I think the denizens here are better calibrated than the usual flight accident thread posters, but based on the above am I going overboard by actively avoiding Colgan at this point? |

Seeing a pen full of Guinea Pigs at Huaca Pucllana in LIM was an eye-opener. Apparently, they are the on-site restaurant's Guinea Pigs...

Either way, I'm not sure I would avoid Colgan. I have a friend that flew for them up until a few months ago and he was a great pilot (CO hired him directly). |

So in good news, it appears i have all day tomorrow to go deal with the Brazilian Consulate.
Has anyone in the box come in on an international red-eye into EWR? I have to fly to SFO as soon as I get back from GRU and i'm wonder what the earliest flight i can take. If I have no bags, can I make a 7:30am flight out of another terminal? |

Good to know. This new software for the G1 seems fine, but I am still undecided.

Are you just messing with ALCO? Coz co-hubbing at THR will put both of you in serious disadvantage.

I just noticed that rkkwan is also a hemispheriphobe. No S. Hemisphere lines on the FlightMemory. You and fozz should start a support group.
