Instead I'll talk about some new music I jsut heard a review of: Tinted Windows! A "super-group" so to speak. Tinted Windows are: Taylor Hanson ((yep---Mm-Bop Hanson (lead vocals)_, James Iha (guitar-Smashing Pumpkins), Adam Schlesinger (bass--Fountains of Wayne), and Bun E. Carlos (drums-Cheap Trick) the tracks I heard were poppy funnnes! I'm gonna buy it! |
Greetings, b:rolleyes:x -- I've been rather busy earning EQM over the last two weeks. It's now time to book more travel and I find CO.com to be completely . Every search for flights I see this:
We're sorry, but continental.com was unable to complete your request due to a technical problem. Please try later or call 1-800-300-1547 for assistance. |

Yes, that would be sufficient time, unless the GRU-EWR flight is delayed.

So i'm here in MCO dreadfully early because - as mentioned above - none of the problems I left time for actually occured.
And you know what? MCO is dreadful itself. It's an ugly, dirty, poorly laid out airport. TPA has nearly idenitcle trams to MCO but TPA's aren't worn, chipping paint, carpet ripping up, stained, scuffed, nor generally dirty at 6am. It's obvious they're renovating here at MCO too, but i fear it wont improve things much. The general upkeep of this airport is horrid. I always assumed that TPA was the way it was to appeal to tourists by being a clean and well designed portal to the state. I assumed MCO was akin to TPA - now I know better. It's not just the age of things either, it's management. It's the little things that give it away, like how TPA has cleaning people who dress in crisp stark white outfits pushing stainless/chrome carts that are shiny and all the bins are masked with more bright white linen. Here at MCO the cleaning people wear drab blue and grey generic uniforms and push around a plastic shop trolly with a dirty yellow rubber trash sack hanging off of it that is covered in more marks and filth then one could imagine. Do the people who run MCO never get to the other side of the state?

that is Ramsey's core audience, being out of debt is a good thing, having a plan is a good thing, Ramsey break it down into baby steps. I don't agree with him on everything by any means, but encouraging people to get out of debt is not at all bad. To me it just seems common sense, something many people lack.

Just now catching up on FT for the first time since Friday. It's been a crazy few days, starting with getting home Friday afternoon. About an hour after I arrived, my partner shows up home from work two hours before I expected him. Turns out he's sick again with what at first appeared to be the same stomach virus he had a month ago while we were in New York. As the evening progressed on, he got progressively worse, and we ended up making a trip to the ER around 10:30 PM. We were there until 9:15 AM Saturday morning, with him getting a couple of hours of sleep after we ended up with a room in the ER where he had a bed, and me sitting in the world's most uncomfortable chair. By the time we got home I had managed about 30-45 minutes of sleep (mainly because my body was just shutting down at that point from exhaustion). I had been up nearly 30 hours when we arrived back home, and Thursday night I had less than five hours of sleep. Saturday was a wash, with us sleeping most of the day. We thought he was stable, but late Saturday night he got worse again, and we were both up half the night dealing with that. Fortunately by Sunday morning he seemed to be on the mend, and yesterday he went back to work a little late, after getting an appointment with his primary care physician for ASAP so we can find out what's really going on. Since he was feeling well enough to do a partial day at work yesterday, and was showing signs of keeping solid food down, we decided I could go ahead and make my work trip this week.
I hope he gets better soon. Scary! |

Things would have to be pretty messed up for that flight to be late into EWR (ie. some weather issue state-side), but then other flights would probably be delayed, as well. Good luck at the Braz. Consulate, fozz!

Are you just messing with ALCO? Coz co-hubbing at THR will put both of you in serious disadvantage.

He honestly didn't know I was already based at THR before starting his airline. However, I do welcome his revolutionary fervor.
