Speaking from the perspective of where i was let off in the terminal. I walked for what felt like forever then i get to what has to be the end and the gate is hidden. It Y's to either side with increasing numbers but 138 and 139 are not listed. They are hidden out of numbered order. So i walked all that way to find the gate not where it should be.

There's a lady holding a yippy dog at my gate and it's already barking.

Thanks! I'm hoping it's all OK too, but what's got us worried is this has come up three times in the last six weeks, and has been progressively worse each time. Sure, it's possible he's caught a virus three times in that short period, but what are the odds? In any case, we'll both feel better after he sees the doctor on Thursday. Unfortunately in the ER it's more about stabilizing the symptoms that are being described, without necessarily running a full diagnosis. But I was glad we went to the ER, because he was dehydrating very quickly, and wasn't able to keep anything down. Rehydrating him via IV, and getting some other drugs in his system helped out quite a bit.

On the good side, there were no issues with the ER allowing me in with him. We were a little worried about that at first, but the staff at Emory was great. However, the whole experience just increased my feeling of how screwed up our overall healthcare system is. It's great we both have insurance, but I'm sure the bill for that night will be something ridiculous.

I hate little yippy dogs. My next door neighbors have three of them, and one of them never stops barking. Half the time it sounds like someone is strangling it. How do people put up living with such obnoxious little animals?
