Air Gulag - seat pitch that makes the Gulag seem like a Black Sea dacha - their CEO used NK for inspiration.

All planes are double-decker, as baggage has been banned and the hold turned into additional seating. I understand oars have been installed at each row, as well. They don't do anything, but the constant whipping and rowing does appear to take one's mind off the seat-pitch.

Asia seems popular. Air Gulag is aiming for HAN, I see. :D

Lots of nearby "tourist" destinations that can be served with short block times. :D

But with gates as expensive as they are I'm not really sure how you guys set up broad networks so quickly. I guess I'll increase frequencies for now??

Aside from THR and DOH (150K value, and THR came as my hub), my other airports were only 100K each. I managed to max out block-time for my An-24 on the four routes I have. As it stands now, my bank-balance is -8K

I think my next plan is to find a decent ~40 seat aircraft and serve cities where gates cost about 50K-100K. Thankfully, Iran and the surrounding environs seem to have a good number of medium-sized airports.

There's a guy sitting next to me trying to, it sounds like, repair or salvage his relationship by parroting what his life coach told him.

That is very  long. Over a year until it finishes if my calculations are correct.

LAS-IAH-LGA*EWR-HNL-EWR-LGA-IAH-LAS

This itinerary has me leaving on 1 June, overnighting in NYC, and then doing a same day turn in HNL, before heading back to Vegas.

1. Is 1:40 enough time to do a same day turn in HNL? The inbound and outbound are two different planes.
2. I don't have a TravelBank account, but (if I open one up) would it be worth it to split off the LAS-IAH-LGA flights to maximize credits?

Many thanks in advance,
JB

The 1:40 connection shouldn't be a problem. I'd be more worried about the LGA-EWR connection. How much time do you have for that?

As for splitting the LGA turn off from the other ticket, I'm not sure how well you'll be protected anyways since there is the airport change. I'd be cautious unless there is a long enough connection time that you are truly in good shape on that ticket.

Thanks for your help, sbm12. I ended up going wth a LAS-IAH-LGA-IAH-HNL-IAH-LGA-LAS routing that departs on 1 June and returns 3 June.

My first MR of the year!

Life coach guy just told the other end of the phone that the most important thing is the man's happiness, which in turn drives everything else...this dude is so screwed.

Ahhh...I got that figured out now. How nice to build on the backs of the future of my proletariat.

Next question: More planes? I don't see any for sale/lease. Is that normal?

And next next question: How much profit should one be able to wring out of a plane? 50K? 100K? 200K? Just want to know if I'm even close to decent with my planning thus far (though I am certain I am not).

As it stands right now I've maxed out my plane. I want more. How?
