The "in" thing amongst my friends with children is to do as you are doing and have a Spanish-speaking nanny speak Spanish to their children. It is a great idea, IMO.

It is something like a $5 local cab, I believe.
AA offered me a buy-up to F, $135 EWR-MIA and $100 MIA-BZE. If I was traveling alone, I might have done it, but for almost $500 for two, I passed on the offer, I will remain in my row with no window. I selected row 13 on the 757 without checking seatguru. |

I got the okay with her to buy this, since we want to capture our daughter growing up in HD glory. Actually, she had been pestering me to buy a video camera. I saw some watches at Costco. I liked one for her. I'll probably go back and buy one tomorrow.
I second the vote for a Swiss Army. They've gone upmarket of late, but you should be able to find something nice in your price range. For something more fun, look at the Ice watches. |
Supposed to be in SAN, but am still here in PHL. PHL airport was a mess this evening. Weather related delays. My incoming flight was diverted to Pittsburgh which meant my flight to IAH was delayed by 2.5hrs, which then meant I would have missed by connection to SAN. I called and got myself onto the 5:35am PHL-IAH flight tomorrow morning, quick 2hr turn in SAN and back again on 12:35PM flight out of SAN-IAH then on to PHL on the 6:55PM flight.
This MR takes me to PLAT - yay! Was ticked off because I had booked the Sheraton Marina hotel via Hotels.com and managed to get a $89 rate - cool! But, it was prepaid, so I thought I was going to have to eat it because the policy was no refunds if cancelled within 24 hrs. Got on the phone to Hotels.com and they agreed to refund me the cost even though the Sheraton wouldn't refund it. Was inmpressed with their customer service. Now I'm at a stinky Days Inn in Chester, PA and have to get up at 3:30AM. Meh! |
