FYI, if it works the next train that leaves at 12:51 and gets to the airport at 1:33 is very close to a super express with an extra stop at New Brunswick.

were delayed now. this plane came from toranto and they said they had a bird strike on landing. they have to inspect before were clear to go. everyone is in a panic now and talking about us airs miracle on the hudson. except they are saying miracle on the gulf. :rolleyes:

NW zeroed out the flight last night and the online seatmap went from wide opwn to a whole 3 seats left in the back...we shall see what my comfort options look like.

As someone who rides this route fairly often - +++++++1. At least on Wednesday nights, the 10:40 pm out of Penn Station goes to EWR and then express to Princeton Junction. I, however, took the 11:09 this week and it made about 7 or 8 stops in the interim, adding 20+ minutes to the overall trip. Not fun.

That's likely a left over from when they had a hub there.

The expresses rock. But I'm partial to the ones that stop in NB since that is where I generally get off. The best train I've had lately, get on EWR and here the annoucement "Next stop, New Brunswick". Reminded me of the old days when those trains used to run faster.

You mean you didn't like it stopping at North Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Linden, Rahway, Metropark, Metuchen, Edison, New Brunswick, Jersey Ave. before it made it to Princeton Jct.?

I had to cancel my MR this weekend , I have too much going on the next few weekends away from here , so I had to bail on PHL-SJC :mad:

Kill me now. I was DEAD TIRED and couldn't decide whether to try and stay awake so as to not miss my stop and end up stranded in Trenton or to approximate arrival time, set my phone alarm, and attempt to get 45-ish minutes of sleep (which is not very easy/comfortable on those trains). It was definitely a :rolleyes: - :rolleyes: situation.
