BDA is pretty awesome as a destination. Apparently there is a severe shortage of appropriate underwear here, particularly in the bra category. :D

Now i'm regretting not jumping on this weekends BDA special. Here's hoping another one will be on the horizon.

The weather yesterday and this morning was  United delayed my flight yesterday and the westbound flight times have been nasty the last few days. :(

I also didn't really have a project at work then so I would've been pretty bored anyways.

I truly believe that folks should spend less time trying to avoid jury duty. I'm not saying that you should run to the courthouse every morning to serve, but it is part of the system that mostly works for us so we should do our little part to keep the system running.

Put another way, would you prefer your jury to be folks like you or the folks who don't make up an excuse to avoid it?

I lucked out last time and was the last person dismmised. It was expected to be a 1 week trial that turned into 8 weeks. My sister was forman of a 10 week state corruption trial last year of which 3 of those weeks were in deliberation. One jurour pulled a race card so they got hung on many counts. In the end the person plead guility to many of charges with a reduced sentence for flipping a few people.

I served my first jury duty with pride. THEY thought I didn't make the cut. The second time around, my travel was too sporadic and the jury duty mgr. said I could claim being a mom of a preschooler so I did. The problem is NO ONE will pick me for a jury. I am too damn opinionated. Ask Plus1.

I'm hitting a wall. I have about two more hours left on pieceing together my PowerPoint and I'm crashing fast. It of course now left with the stuff I never had to deal with and the subject matter is as dry as toast. I need to e-mail it out at 9 AM.

No plaintiff's attorney will ever allow you to be on any civil case jury if you are an owner of your own business.

That might make it worse and make me crash even faster. I'm afraid if I drink coffee I'll get all jittery and agrrevated.
