Good Morning Box.

Good morning box!

It's the first time in 3+ months that I've gotten 8+ hours of sleep and slept during what is actually nighttime at my physical location.

I went to bed at like 7:30pm (don't judge me!)

I actually feel human again!

What is this putting "gotten" and "8+ hours" and "sleep" in the same sentence? Me knows not what this means

You shouldn't have asked. "The mini bridge. An introduction to culvert planning and design"

Finished in just over two hours. I'll take a look at it again in a few hours. I'm not happy with it at all. Not my usual PowerPoint due to a lack of photos.

G'Morning, Olton! Is this pp for a civil engineering course? Hope you were able to get some sleep before the presentation today. Good luck with it!

Another morning on the Acela.

Did you get any time to relax?

I found out when I was laid off. It's a wonderful thing.

Yep on the CE thing. The course is tomorrow. I have to get things finished up by 9 today for printing reasons. That's why I'm here in the Box

Olton, Did you wake up w/a diff. perspective on the pp? ;)Hopefully everything goes smoothly today & you get some rest tonight before the presentation tomorrow.

Morning Box.

After doing chores around the house over the weekend, I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing day at work.

Today seems to be shaping up pretty well. I just called Chase () and was once again met by a highly competent, professional, and polite individual. I don't know what the deuce is going on over there, but I'm really liking the fact that they're seeming to be placing a higher value in customer service.

I also received a 5 day EUA notification between EWR - IAH on the 777.

I tried desperately to fit in the 777 or even take the gamble on the 767 for a MR out of EWR to SJC, ONT or SNA, but it just didn’t work out price wise for me. So now I’m flying out of LGA at 5:45 am  on a 738 with 20 F seats which I don’t think will be a problem for an EUA at that god awful hour on a Saturday Morning.

I've seen empty F seats on that flight on more than one occasion (during the week).

Same here. I am, in fact, taking exactly such a flight on a 738 at 5:45 on a Saturday morning out of LGA. 5/23. What day are you going?

I expect nothing in the way of EUA's as a Silver, but this is the flight that (after DEQMs) will get me to Gold - and then hopefully we'll be talking...

Nice! It's amazing how much more civilized one can feel after just a couple hours more sleep. The difference between 6 and 8 hours, for me, is amazing.

WOW. That is a lot of physical and mental toughness.

I have only myself to blame for my current state of  ...crashed early in the evening, got back up to do work, passed out again, woke up to talk to my favorite UA MP member who was on a MR to OGG...it was just past sunset there, and I'm on the East Coast...you can do the math. Thank goodness I don't teach until 11:00 on Mondays.

A3Y3 could mean that there are only 3 F seats the airline's willing to sell at the moment (instead of 6), couldn't it?

Phew what a night! I need a nap already!

It was great to meet dergon darkhelm and friends - I hope you guys enjoyed your evening!
