Has anyone honestly ever complained when a presentation/meeting went under-time?

If you hit all the points you hit the points. Encourage discussion, otherwise, fall under the time limit and give everyone a little present.

You shouldn't have a problem if you finish an hour early and say, "Bar's open. First round on me!"^

I like KNRG's suggestion - talk slow & get 'audience' participation! Is there anyway to collect photos of real-life examples of mini-bridges, so it's like a 'tour' of same?!

Maybe he'll lose points if the presentation comes in, under the time requirement!

I think I am done buying 733s, I don't think I need anymore capacity in that range. I am on to buying as many 762ERs as I can get my hands on.

Welcome to my LIFE, particularly in grad school. :)

Talk slow. 99% of us talk WAY faster than we need to, especially when people are aurally processing.

Can you encourage interactivity/conversation? Do you know your audience well enough to call first on people who are LESS likely to know the answer cold? That gives you a teaching opportunity right there, which is always good for some time...

And everyone's right, if you get done a little early but having clearly made your point, it's a win-win situation. :D Good luck!

Wow that's bigger than my first apartment.

And larger than my current one. Then again, just about any "big" hotel room I get is bigger than my apartment. Such is life lived in Manhattan with a bit of a travel addiction problem.

Nice pictures. IranAir and Vietnam Airlines, two new airlines I have not seen before. I need to get out of the US more.

I've flown VN on local flights, both an ATR and an A321. Not too shabby.

Absolutely. Nothing quite like a 5 hour buffer to ease things.

Completely adult food. And a deal-breaker with my caterer for my wedding. :D Of course, we wanted the kosher ones (I like kosher hot dogs better anyways) and the caterer gave me a heart attack half way through the cocktail hour when she intimated that they were the pork ones. She quickly remembered that she had ordered the correct ones.

Most CE courses actually have to fill the time or the person attending doesn't get their credits. That would be bad.

I get paid by the hour. If it ends 25 minutes early I'd consider it a good thing. Maybe I'll luck out and people will take their time comeing back from break. When was the last time anyone has had a 10 minute break that didn't last 20 minutes?

Then maybe you need to provide 'refreshments' to encourage prolonging the break!

I've learned to talk slow but the down side is I get mono-tone when I do that so I can't use vocal variety to spice up a boring subject. When I ran through it, I also included real life stories.

There are a couple of people who should know the some of this stuff much better than me which are the people that worry me the most. I have to be careful how I get them to interact with this. Thankfully the stuff they know would be a full day course all by its self.

Refreshments are provided. I've seen the table with the sign that said, "Don't even think of touching this food"
