Have you spent much time in T2? I can see how FRA gets a bad name based on T1, but T2 was quite nice.

Late night or just slow coming into the Box?

5 years! Is that how long surgeon training is going to take? Or are you getting another degree?

Surgery residency is 5 years. No possibility of transfer for her until the first year is complete. I have zero interest in pursuing another degree. 4 is enough. If I can't get a decent job after this one, I'm resorting to Plan B: Pirate Bartender.

Yeah, it's much better than T1, but nothing to write home about.

DL's CRC is rather .

I'm sure CO will be moving over to the "exile" wing at T1 with the integration into *.

One thing to be aware of on the tour is even though brochures say there is an English version, it is all in German.

I was able to understand some of what she was saying, but there were parts where she just talked to fast and I got lost.

Thanks! Seeing the IranAir A300 was definitely cool!

I wonder if they hand out courtesy chadors to their foreign female passengers.

The CRC is not impressive but T2 itself is quite nice. There were a few good restaurant options and security was a breeze. I'm sure when the Emirates, JAL, and others are there, it's a nightmare.

T1 was absolute chaos when we arrived on Saturday. LH had lines of people that just started and ended in the middle of a hallway, with no way to tell what the line was for.

Nice pictures. IranAir and Vietnam Airlines, two new airlines I have not seen before. I need to get out of the US more.

I was amazed at how many airlines fly into CH airspace and GVA airport that are from the middle east and all, it is quite the neutral 'hot spot' :)

Will IAH become the home for the both of you when you finally live in the same place?

Plan B: you can become the next Charlie in the PClub.

When I arrived at FRA yesterday, there was a DL Skyteam plane parked at a gate. I had never seen a Skyteam plane before (similiar to the Star planes).

Does CO have some painted like that?

I agree, T1 is nothing to write home about but it is certainly a huge improvement over T2 and not worthy of giving FRA a bad name.

While the DL CRC has a  view and shower rooms that are also somewhat , I found the food and beverage offerings to be adequate for a US-based carrier lounge. Not sure that's saying much... :)

I think the only positives to CO eventually moving to T1 will be the greater selection of lounges and the closer proximity to public transportation.

Probably, though neither of us wants to spend a very long time here. My job prospects are best in Houston, and General Surgeons are in demand just about anywhere.

DL is the first carrier with the SkyTeam c/s. The other SkyTeam members are supposedly joining in this c/s later this year.

Was it the 764? http://blog.delta.com/2009/04/07/mod...m-plane-debut/
