Excellent point - the price premium is often justified by having the aircraft immediately available.

True, but I'm not sure the Il-76 is worth the instant gratification. An-74s, on the other hand... ^

Hope my first Yak-42D wasn't a fluke. It's my best earner so far. For the money, though, the An-74s are hard to beat (by Soviet rust-bucket standards).

Yup.

Also, new to the market, Global 7 Express announces sub-$5,000,000 turboprops great for starting a new hub, including ultralonghaul ATR 42-320s.

I think AeroflOtter's next move for long-haul aircraft will be the Shanghai Y-10. I'm not impressed with the earnings of the Il-62MK. It burns significantly more fuel than the Y-10, has about the same range, and only carries about 20 more pax.

I think they are great longhaul starter aircraft, great for filling a slot until larger aircraft arrive from the manufacturer.

Just for the Otter.....

All EQMs count. At least that was my impression from what official CO sources have indicated.

Yeah, it's much better than T1, but nothing to write home about.

DL's CRC is rather .

I'm sure CO will be moving over to the "exile" wing at T1 with the integration into *.

The CRC is no VS CH or SQ F lounge, but it is just fine for an American carrier's lounge and certainly nicer than many of the CRC's in the US.

When CO moves to *A, the may go to the A Pier where the UA RCC is.

They are at ABI, about 40-50 of them in total. I'd love to have the money to buy a couple of these and start my Mini AM in real life the 340's perform well and can be made a lot nicer than AA had them as well :)

YXE has a pretty decent F28 graveyard. Not sure it's worth traveling to YXE to see, though.

I'm sick of the weather this spring. Once again Atlanta weather is screwing up my flight connections, and I'm likely now going to miss my connection at DTW to FWA tonight. Fortunately there's a later DTW-FWA flight I can easily make but I'm sure I'll lose my exit row aisle seat on the CRJ for that flight, and I'm not looking forward to a late arrival at FWA, considering I have to leave the hotel there by 7:00 AM tomorrow morning for a nearly two hour drive to my client.

It's bigger than either of the places I called home between 2000 and early 2008.

Does CO have some painted like that?

How funny. We saw the same plane on opposite ends of that flight. I saw it for the first time at ATL parked on Concourse E for a flight to FRA on Saturday afternoon.
