She's got mini-golf skills. The mini-golf wars of the summer began on one of our first dates, and I was trying on that date, on which I got smoked by about five strokes. And she wins a lot more than she loses, trust me.

If only I could get Shiner in NJ - it's one of the few domestic beers that I really like, and I got my taste for it at the Do. ^

I only went through four 750 ml bottles last week.

I listened to Fozz's podcast UPGRD 6-15 today while running around the city. I learned a lot about other carrier's, not that I am gong to switch but good to know. ^ Now, for some reason their website www.upgrd.com will not let me go to page 2 to listen to 1-5?

All this talk of barbecue is making me hungry.

Hi, all!

Well, the sore throat got worse, not better, and I woke up around 6 am with the ache and other symptoms of a mild fever. Took Tylenol, went back to bed, and got up at 9 feeling better (other than the sore throat) and figured that I would be OK to go on my previously scheduled 24 mile bike ride.

Which I was, until about mile #14 when the Tylenol wore off, and I finished the thing at a miserable, aching crawl.

I almost NEVER get sick, so this is quite annoying.

What I mean to say, more importantly, though, is - last night was SO MUCH FUN!! It was great to put faces to screen names, make friends, eat, drink, and even attempt to book a MR at the dinner table. :) Thanks again to all the organizers. Good times!

I am whipping up a batch of black beans, rice and spicy sausage prior to a sit down in front of the TV for Amazing Race.
