Three words: teenybopper eye candy.

Haha! Maybe it has changed since I was last down there (probably 8-10 years ago), but I always saw what I'd describe as a white trash crowd.

In HS, we always went to Ocean City or LBI for the eye candy...

IMO, Island Beach State Park is by far the best beach in NJ (especially the quieter areas past the 3 public beach areas).

The Wildwood crowd just ruins any goodness the beach itself has to offer.

I almost broke my neck at IBSP 20 years ago body surfing. Is Wildwood still over run by the French Canadians?

Exit 100 on the parkway = halfway to free golf. You got off at 44 for that, I think.

And the fact that you consider yourself a 78 exit person is kinda  in comparison to saying that you live in Central NJ, at least off the top of my head. What exit?

I'm a 287 exit kind of guy. I guess 10 on the TPK, and I forget which on the parkway (though I take it a lot :rolleyes::o)

Nice. I'd have to disagree with this though. I like to think that Central Jersey is where most of the "normal" people in the state live. A lot of North Jersey is full of extremely rude people and most of South Jersey is just...well, weird. (No offense intended to anyone in The Box as there are, of course, exceptions!) :D

Indeed. I live in central Jersey. North is either too crowded or too rural. South is too rural or too Philly. The middle is just right. This is politically speaking, of course, geographically speaking 1/2 the state is south Jersey.

I have an unexpected layover at IAH, perhaps a quick trip out to the open is in order!

The Shelby was black, but it was the coupe, not the convertible. I am pretty sure that Baglady's luggage was the most payload ever crammed into any Shelby.

The Open was fun. The wind played a lot of havoc with shots today. I have to give a ^ to how well the Parking Spot shuttles ran. (Though they had so many at the course I was glad I did not need one at IAH today!)

I don't think so. That seems like a lot, even to me.

And that is right near Toms River which, in my mind, has always been the dividing line down the shore between North and South Jersey.

My part of distinctly-central NJ (exit 8 off I-95) honestly feels more to me like southern Connecticut (where I have also lived) than anything else - including the fact that a lot of the minor residential streets don't have sidewalks!

Hmmmm. The outdoorsman mentioned on the Wiki page (Tom Brown) is a client of my mother.

I'm glad you liked it. That's annoying. If you have iTunes, you can subscribe to via the iTunes store. I've pinged the guy who maintains the site that you can't go to page 2 in the meantime.

What I mean to say, more importantly, though, is - last night was SO MUCH FUN!! It was great to put faces to screen names, make friends, eat, drink, and even attempt to book a MR at the dinner table. :) Thanks again to all the organizers. Good times!

Sorry to hear you're not feeling good, hope you feel better. Even better is that we didn't scare you away. :D

I would be up for that. I'm glad it's warming up and I may be able to hit some of the toepaths on the D&R.

There is a pretty clear line in Central NJ between the "italian ice" and the "water ice" areas. I live in Central NJ but everyone around here calls it italian ice.

It's like Sprinkles vs Jimmies. I've always called it Italian Ice.

Two more 734's ordered today - I think I need something like 15 more narrowbodies to polish off my wishlist of city pairs.
