I might defect over to mega bus to get over to BWI. I am considering a BWI-IAH-SEA trip.

I thought the Luftwaffe had space at LAX, but then I looked again and realized that MBM3 left LAX. I'm trying not to undercut Luftwaffe members, as with a world this small and such a small number of players there really should be room for everyone and multiple airlines should really be able to run any city pair labeled Excellent at one flight per day.

Boston made it much easier to compete my RTW routings! :)

Incidentally, they recently started serving BOS. Been seeing them here fairly often lately

My wife took them to BOS this past weekend; said the ride was fine.

They do have a program. In addition to the eventual free ride (which I haven't figured out) being a member guarantees you an "A" boarding slot. That's a nice perk.

I have a few routes that utilize the alliance hubs but that's because it fills in the 3-4 hours I have left on my planes. I do send out a message letting people know and asking if it cuts into their utilization too much.

The trouble I am seeing now is leftover hours on the longhaul routes.

The Sheraton has not had good buzz on the SPG forum; however, it looks perfectly fine, is in a good location, and I have never stayed at a bad Sheraton in China. Their standards are pretty darn high and they have a really good guy overseeing the region. So perhaps there was a problem at opening and it's okay now? Not sure; but it is one of the three I have reserved so I have no qualms about it.

I can't complain because it was a beautiful day. The temps were in the low 40's for the first game and the second game was in the 70's. Nice cool breeze and no clouds in the sky.

Sorry they lost, but glad you got to play Belle ;) They make #70. I usually use #50 and I was amazed it kept me nice and pasty throughout the entire golf tournament.

I have tried to put my planes on routes without competition and luckily have been able to keep my utilization up fairly high. Then again, I have made some big mistakes and wasted some money while figuring out my action plan.

That makes it more Mega than the Bolt. Speaking of Bolt, tons of them down this way. The sky has that eerie "don't eff with me" coloring going on. Right after I typed that, a tree in my back yard got zapped. No more talking about the lightning; the Jersey Devil might come get me.

I figured out there are exactly seven cities that can be served from DXB and not have an aircraft dedicated to them. Anywhere else that I wanna fly to needs to have a dedicated aircraft, leaving as many as 8 unused hours. I just ordered another 734, and the three on order will likely flesh out my domestic plans for now. DXB will get more attention once I have the domestic structure in place to the point that it's making money to cover the crappy utilization that DXB gives me.

Morning, Box.

Right after I praise AA for doing a great job on my wedding flight they go and change the schedule drastically for the honeymoon. Basically the change would have put us into SJO 4 hours later and we would have had to leave 5 hours earlier on the day of departure but putting us in 2 hours later than original. After arguing with the AAgent she finally decided it would be OK to give me a full refund to original form of payment (which is what I was trying to do since CO prices went down and it nets more miles + upgrade opportunity). After doing that I was able to book the fiancee in First all the way through ($820 - $400 cert = $420) and I am going sit in the back and pray for an upgrade ($350 - $100 = $250). The best thing is that the new tickets came out to be the same price excluding the $500 in vouchers I used on CO and now I actually have a shot at sitting in F (she already is).^

Now if CO would only extend the DEQM through July 4.

I saw that on the SPG forum, but there were some positive things posted recently, some people do seem to thing the LM has better location (People's Square)

As for the GP , good thing I did not reveal the winner :o

Why would you want to put anymoney down on a lease? Do you realize that if you drive the car off the lot and it gets smashed up that any downpayment you made is gone? Your insurance company will pay off the lease, and you will have already paid the money from the downpayment.
